Mom's Little Helper

Carter loves to help me around the house. Here he is posing in the dryer, after he had taken out all the clothes, thrown them on the ground and climbed in. This is his favorite thing to do, it is hilarious. He thinks he is being such a big help.

As you can see he is also a big help in the kitchen. This keeps him entertained sometimes while I am cooking, but not always. He normally puts everything back where he got it, but it is so funny to watch him just tear through the cabinet.

Body Slam Dad!

Carter thought it was so funny the other night to go lay or sit on dad while he was laying on the floor. Please excuse Carter for not having any pants on, it was almost bedtime.

Embrey Madeline Andreas

Our friends Gardner and Leah Andreas had a baby on Wednesday, February 20 at 1:50pm. She weighed 8lbs 14oz and was 21 1/2in long. She joins her older sister Addison Marie. The family is doing great. We got a chance to go see her a little bit on Wed., and she is adorable. Also, please pray for their family as Gardner leaves on Tuesday to go overseas for a year (he is in the National Guard). I am sure this is going to be very hard for him to leave all his girls, and even harder for them.

Carter - 18 mth Checkup

Well, Carter had his 18 mth checkup today! I know I can't believe that he is 18 mths old. It is so amazing how quickly he has grown up. Overall, he had a great checkup with the doctor. He weighed 22 lbs 4 ozs (10%), and was 31 1/2 in (50%), and his head was in the 40-50% range. The doctor was very pleased, as was I, especially since he gained 1 lb since our last visit.

I took these pictures yesterday, he is such a little ham whenever I get out the camera. I would say cheese and he would just laugh. He also is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So, whenever I need to get some cooking done, I turn it on (I know bad), but it keeps him entertained. As you can see from his couch potato pose.

Weekly Playdate

Amber and Paige came over again last week to have our weekly playdate. The kids had a lot of fun, and at one point Carter was chasing Paige (who had stolen his stuffed dog), and tackled her. They were both laying on the ground, Carter on top, and laughing. I wish that I could have gotten to my camera quicker. They are playing so well together. These were a couple of cute pics from the day. The one of Paige looks like she got caught doing something. And then there was the sweet one of Carter giving Aunt Amber some kisses, he loves giving out his kisses.

Valentines Dinner

Chris and I went to a Valentines Dinner at our church that our Sunday School class put together. We had speakers from Eagle Family Ministried, and some great food catered in. It was a great night, and was a good way to kickoff our Marriage Conference Weekend. It was a great conference, and would recommend others to find the closest one to where you live (http://www.familylife.com/).

Valentines Day!

So, I walked out to the kitchen this morning to find some tulips (my favorite), a cd, and a homemade card from Chris. I was so impressed with the card. He spent some time last night while I was at a game using my scrapbooking stuff to create me the best card that I have ever gotten from him. I even told him that now he has to start doing all the scrapbooking, as he is definitely more creative than me. I absolutely loved everything, he is the best husband EVER!!!

We are going to the Family Life Marriage Conference this weekend at the Embassy Suites in Rogers. We are looking forward to everything that we can learn to make our marriage stronger. Can't wait to see what activities they make us do, we could learn more about each other this weekend, it could be very interesting! :)

Season Over!

Well, we have finally wrapped up basketball season at Gravette. Our overall season has not been that good, but our boys made a strong comeback in the District Tournament this week in Huntsville. We were seated #8, and beat the #5 Greenland the first night. So, we went back last night to play #4 Farmington. We started out good, but then couldn't make a basket. It was sad, but honestly I am glad that it is over.

Here are some pictures of some of my girls last night on the bus. I am missing some of them in the picture, but most of them are there. As you can see they are a bunch of crazy girls, they love doing those funny pictures. I am going to miss the 2 girls that are leaving, but am looking forward to getting more girls (we have tryouts in 3 weeks). By the way, our season never ends!!!!!

Definitely my Child!

He was being such a ham when I got the camera out, and I thought this was a pretty good picture especially of me taking it myself. He is so much fun!!!!

Carter is such a big help these days. He spends his days helping me with the laundry, but helping, I mean crawling in the dryer after he has pulled out all of the clothes and thrown them on the floor. And as you can see above, when he was done eating, he pushed his high chair back to its normal spot.

Boys Club

So, Chris keeps saying that him and Carter have started their own BOYS CLUB, no girls allowed! This is very sad for me, but as you can see from this picture, Carter loves hanging out with his dad. The other picture just shows what a little ham he has become. He is all over the place, and into everything. He definitely keeps my days full of fun, but I would not trade a moment of my time with him. He is growing up so fast!

Playdate with Paige

Carter and his cousin Paige normally have at least one playdate each week. This past week, Amber and Paige came over to play, and Amber brought a new toy. She had gotten Paige some tunnels that you can crawl through. Carter didn't know what to expect at first, but then ended up loving them. He did however, try to sit up in the tunnel, which doesn't work quite as well.

Finally!

Well, since it was taking me forever to get our website back up and running, we decided to do a blog. Several of our friends and family have one, so I decided to join the group. Hopefully, we will be good about updating it, but don't hold your breath.
