Christmas Blessings

4 years ago God gave us some wonderful Christmas presents.  Although, funny when we first found out they were twins, what a blessing they have been x 2!!!  Weighing in at 5.8 (Kennedy) and 6.15 (Bailey) at 12:20 and 12:21 PM on Dec 22nd, what a wonderful addition they were to our family then and now.  I can't imagine our days without them.  They are SO different in SO many ways, but at the end of they day, they are twins and love each other in their own special way.  Thanks to all those that have helped with them over the years, know that you have made an impact in their lives!  Happy 4th Birthday Kennedy and Bailey!

Webb Family Thanksgiving

For those of you that know me, you know I have a HUGE family.  I love my family, and all of the great times that we have had.  I grew up with some great uncles, aunts, and especially my cousins.  I still turn to them all today if I ever need anything.  My dad is one of 8, so of course when we get together there is always a lot of people, but I would have it no other way!  We are a family of games, tricks, and most importantly EATING!!!  We always do the holidays together, and pretty much anytime you can't find my dad and his brothers they are more than likely at his sister's playing dominoes or cards.  I have a cousin in the army and he was just deployed, so we thought while we were mostly all together we would take a picture for him.  There were 69 in the picture, and we were still missing 21.  Can you say BIG?!?!  Again, I can't tell you how much I LOVE my family and all the great times we have had my 33 years in this world.  Some of my best memories!

Christmas Train

They have a Christmas Train each year in Springdale benefiting Childrens Charities.  We decided that we would take the kids this year.  It went from Springdale to Tonitown, and even Santa made an appearance.  They kids had a good time, and of course got to each lots of snacks on a BIG trip!  Love these kids, and their excitement that gets bigger and bigger each year.  (By they way, in case you are wondering Carter decided to rub his head on the carpet at school and gave himself carpet burn...DON'T ASK!!!)

Sweet girl staring out the window of the train...

Nana Flynt and all her grandkids except the 3 in Texas, sure wish they would have been there too.

Lights on the Square

We went to see the lights on the square in Fayetteville on Friday night.  It was a perfect night to see them with the weather being in the 60s, especially considering last year was freezing cold.  It was amazing to see how much the kids loved seeing the lights.  I love to see how their reactions change year after year as it comes to Christmas and lights.

Thanksgiving Program - Little Turkeys

The girls had a Thanksgiving program at school, and let me tell you, Kennedy loved every minute and Bailey hated it!!!  Bailey didn't move her mouth, smile, or anything up there, all the while Kennedy was doing all the motions and singing!  Bailey knew every word and motion, but that is just not her thing!  As you can see below, she was all smiles when she got off stage of course.  All my photos on stage were messed up because of lighting.

Of course they had Nana Flynt and Papa Webb come watch

Class Hayride/Cookout

Our Sunday School Class got together for our annual Fall Hayride and Cookout back in October.  This year it was at a new location, and the couple went all out and had a petting zoo, inflatables and pony rides as part of the entertainment.  I guess when they counted how many kids would actually be there, they thought this might be fun for them.  I think we ended up counting there were about 65-70 people there between adults and kids.  WOW!!!  We have a lot of kids.  My kids loved the pony rides, and wanted to stay on them all night.

Fall Catch Up!!!

Since I am a little behind on updates, I am going to combine some of them.  Enjoy the recaps.

Carter was asked to be the crown bearer in Gravette's Football Homecoming this year.  He was so excited and did so well.  He was in it with some of my friend from high schools kids, so that was nice that he knew them.  They all looked so adorable.
He got to ride in the parade, he thought he was big time!!

Pictures at the park before homecoming...

After the crowning of the queen...

Totally different subject...the girls are going to Lifeway 2 days a week this year, and they got to go on their first first trip...to the Fire Station.  Carter did this for 2 years, and now they get to do it as well.
 Their class...check out Bailey's face

9/14 at 9:14 AM

You ask what happened on 9/14 at 9:14 AM, well our sweet baby Molly Claire Flynt was born.  She has been such a blessing to us these past few years, and has definitely completed our family.  She has recently become a little firecracker, but honestly who can blame her with everyone in our house.  There are so many things I will remember about our time in the hospital with Molly, but probably the biggest was how bored we were.  I mean really we have a new born baby and we were bored.  Seriously she was so good, and lets face it, we are used to chase 3 kids around at this time.  So, on this wonderful day, we want to wish our sweet Molly a very HAPPY 2nd Birthday!

Still to this day, can't really tell who she looks like...she is a perfect mix of all of us.

I can't believe how young they look here, wait...they were only 20 mths., they are young.  HA!

And how could we make it through life without this great BIG brother to take care of all these girls...Look how happy he is, you wonder at this point if he thought he would have to share a bed with Molly.  There is no hope for him and Chris.

She is our craziest little one to date, but we wouldn't trade her for the world!!

Sneak Peak...

We had family pictures at the end of July, and of course that is the one day it rained in the entire month!  To say that the pictures went smooth would be a lie.  Our photographer is also a friend (Bartmier Photography), and while she was editing her and her husband got a kick out of our pictures.  She did exactly what she was supposed to, capture a true representation of our family.  I will upload more later, but wanted to give you all a glimpse of how they went...

Love that they are all doing something different, and poor Carter is just ready for the picture.

Carter starts KINDERGARTEN!!!

Carter's 6th Birthday was actually his first day of KINDERGARTEN.  How lucky is he?  Ha!  He walked right into his class and started talking to his friends and coloring.  Mom and Dad did ok the first day too!  He so far is loving it!  I am sure there will be lots of stories to tell throughout the year.

Pardon Molly's hair, but the girls wanted their picture with Bubba on his birthday and first day of school!

Our BIG SUPERHERO!

The weekend before school started we had Carter's birthday party at none other than Nana Flynt's house.  It was a cooler day than we have had, and rained threatened to come like last year, but there were still those that got in the pool.  Amazing to see how much he has grown since his last birthday and for sure since he was born.  We are so blessed to have Carter in our life.

To say he is obsessed with superheros is an understatement!  He wants to constantly watch a superhero movie or play with the toys.

Thanks to everyone that came out, he had a blast and got some great new toys and money!!!

Carter has some friends that are girls that have been having some girl parties that he has not been able to attend.  So, he wanted to have a little part of his birthday just be about him and the boys.  So, he had his first big boy sleepover.  They went to the fair to watch the tractor pull and then home to play and watched a movie and ate popcorn.  I think it was a very successful sleepover, and most importantly Carter loved it!!

School has begun...

Well, all the girls started school a couple of weeks ago.  Molly is doing a MDO program and the girls are in PreK-3 program.  They were so excited to go when they got up, and then we actually arrived at school and things changed.  No, really they did good, but Bailey being our more stand off/shy child was very unsure about it.  They wouldn't even let me take their pictures with their teacher.  We will try that another day.  But don't the girls look so big here...

BIG BEAR...

We decided to take the kids to the kids to Bass Pro in Springfield on our way back from Branson last weekend.  They loved all the animals, fish, etc that they saw especially the BIG BEAR!!  It was so funny to see Molly when she realized what it was.  Sorry for the blurry picture, but at least they are all looking!

Molly and her new STAGE....

So, from the beginning Molly has been one of our best sleepers and overall very easy going.  Then starts the terrible twos!!  No, she is not TWO yet, but none the less it has began.  She can throw a fit like the best of them, and in regards to sleeping well she has decided that she wants to climb out of her crib, pack n play, and pretty much whatever you want her to sleep in.  She is a crazy little girl!!!  While we were in Branson this past weekend she decided the pack n play was not for her.  So, when I put her down for a nap, she climbed out and got in the bed to take her nap.  She looks so sweet and innocent there don't you think?  Although, she can be so sweet, I am also experiencing the crazy side of her.  I know it is just a stage, but I sure do like my sweet Molly!!!

In regards to her sleeping arrangements, right now she has spent 2 nights this week sleeping on the floor because that is where finally gave up.  She is a night owl that is for sure, she would rather play than sleep at this stage.  Gotta love it!

20th Annual Domino Tournament

Last weekend my dad's family made the trip to Branson for our 20th Annual Domino Tournament.  For those of you who don't know, my dad's family has been playing "88" since I can remember.  And some of my cousins got it in their heads 20 years ago that we should have a tournament.  So, thus began our family domino tournament that occurs every year in August.  Although some of the teams have changed throughout the years, some have been together for 20 years.  Its amazing to look at the plaque (yes we have a plaque) and see the names that have won over the years.  I love my family and the fact that we do these tournaments that seem crazy to most people, they are completely normal for my family.

Since it was the 20th annual we decided to go all out.  We booked a weekend away in Branson where we could all hang out all weekend, and to top it all off we had shirts made.  I am waiting to get some pictures back from my cousin, but it was a lot of fun!!!  We had 16 teams total (our most ever) and all the kids for a total of 72 people there.  We were missing 12 people, so as you can see we all love this stuff!!

I have said this multiple times, but I love my family and the fact that no matter how old you are we still love playing games....too bad some of the uncles CHEAT like crazy!!!  Gotta love it.  Will post pictures soon!

Girls Weekend Away...

A couple of weekends ago we had a girls weekend in Branson.  There were 9 of us from our Sunday School  class that made the trip there.  Some of us went up early on Friday to go to White Water.  Let me tell you I felt like a kids waiting for this weekend, and mainly because of White Water.  I loved going there when I was little and it was no different now.  We got there at 11, and rode ride after ride until we left at 5.  We had so much fun and that was only the beginning.  It was so fun to fellowship with these ladies and enjoy some shopping where we could go at our own pace.  Thanks to our husbands who stayed home with the kids all weekend.  We are all so lucky to have such great guys!!!

Took me years....

It took me YEARS I tell you to get my name on one of the many family plaques that we have on my dad's side.  It took Carter 1 year!!!!  My family has always been and probably always will been big gamers!!  We love to play games, and since there are a TON of us, we always have enough to play.  We have a road rally on the 4th every year and a domino tournament every August.  This year Chris, my Uncle David, and me made up the road rally because we won last year.  We did something a little different this year and made them put a puzzle together to get their clues and also do a crossword.  Carter jumped in the car with my cousins Raymond, Brooke and Melissa, and low and behold they WON!!!  He was so excited, and I love that he is getting to experience this at such a young age.  I hope that when he is our age they will still do these kids of games/rallies, etc.  I am blessed with such a wonderful family that does crazy stuff and enjoys every minute of it!!!

Happy 4th of July

We had a very low key 4th of July this year, probably because it was in the middle of the week.  We went up to our church on Wednesday night to hang out with our Sunday School class, enjoyed a cookout, and then watched the fireworks show that they put on.  Then we had spent Friday and Saturday this weekend with my family for some family fun.

Look at that face...she is approaching 2, and let me tell you has her TERRIBLE 2's moments already...heaven help us!

I am not sure why I don't have Carter in any of these pictures lately.  He was there, but I think because he runs off with his friends everytime we get somewhere I never gets pictures of him.  They joys of having a very active almost 6 year old!!!
