Dance Paige Dance...

We were so excited to get to see Paige dance in her recital tonight since Carter's game was cancelled.  She did such a great job, and I can't totally see our girls doing that one day.  I am pretty sure Kennedy would have jumped up on stage and done it with them if we would have told her to.  It was a lot of fun, and very cute to see all the little and big girls dance!

Carter's Last Day...

Well, our sweet boy graduated Kindergarten yesterday!  It was bittersweet knowing that our 1st has gone through Kindergarten, but crazy to think we have this to do 3 more times...Carter is such a great kid, and I love his love of school.  He is super smart..he gets that from Chris, and remembers everything you tell him.  He is a great reader and surprises me daily with what he can read!  I am so proud of this sweet boy and can't wait to see how 1st grade is.

His last day of school...he has a lot more hair than the picture I posted yesterday..and one less tooth...ha

Program..they also gave out awards before they graduated and he got the Achievement Award...so proud fo him.

Best picture from my phone, my other pics are on the real camera that I don't have with me right now.

Carter and Mrs. Hartman...he loved having her, and she was so great to him and us.  Thanks to Mrs. Hartman for making Carter's first year so great!

They do this thing where they put what they want to be when they grow up on a piece of paper, tie it to a balloon and let it fly off...well this is what he wants to be and in case you wonder what that is, it is a person that works at a museum...really!  The funny thing is on the way to school, he told Chris he wanted to be a coach.  He has changed his mind a thousand times, but that is ok, he can do that now!

Not the best, but at least we got one...

These are 2 of his best friends...Hayden and James....I love Hayden's face.
What an experience this year has been for all of us.  I have enjoyed seeing him grow up, and can't wait for the coming years.

Carter Ryan we are so proud of you and love you more and more each day!

Teaser...

Today we had our first of 4 Kindergarten graduations.  It is crazy to believe that I have a 1st grader now.  Man time sure does fly...

Tomorrow the post will be totally dedicated to Carter, and his day today and other random things about him...but for now enjoy looking back almost a year ago at his first day of Kindergarten picture...he has grown up so much this year!

Memorial Day Weekend...

Like I mentioned yesterday we took off Friday for Branson and Silver Dollar City.  It was a lot of fun, and not as crazy as I am sure the rest of the Holiday weekend was.  It wasn't too hot, which is even better.  All the kids rode all the rides, which is surprising for Kennedy (totally not my child).  It was a fun time for all of us I think, at least for me and kids it was.

We did SDC on Friday, and then Friday night had dinner then went to our hotel.  After we took showers, Chris took Carter to play putt - putt.  Carter had such a good time, and didn't do too bad actually.

Bailey has the funnies expressions in most of these pictures...so funny!

Ok, so I am very sad about this picture...I had some random guy take the picture, and he totally left out Molly!  She was asleep in the stroller, and you could clearly see her, but he didn't get her.  I just grabbed my phone and we headed out...end of day and crowded at the front.  So, it wasn't until we were on our way home that I noticed it.  So sad :(  sorry Molly!

On Sat., we ran to the outlets for Chris to get some new shirts, and then headed to Branson Landing to walk around the shops and see the fountain.

Here are my two favorite guys!!!!

And here is us on our 11 year anniversary!  What a great way to spend it with him and our 4 kids, no matter how crazy they were (they were exhausted), it was a great day with him!

To and Fro...

We decided to do a Kindergarten skip day on Friday to go to Branson and Silver Dollar City before the BIG rush came over the Holiday weekend.  So, off we went to Branson on Friday morning, and decided to stay the night do a little shopping on Sat then home.  There will be more on the trip later, but wanted to share a few very different pictures on our way there and then on way back...

Starting out...all smiles and ready to watch their movie...Girls watched Barbie, Carter watched The Avengers (he has his own player)...

Then on the way home...notice all the girls sleep the same way...mouths open! Carter is back in the back with Molly, just laying down so you can't see him.  They were all WORN out.

We love the Simpsons...

To say my kids love Mr. Jeff & Mrs. Dana is an understatement...just look at the picture.  Jeff & Dana used to teach our Sunday School class and have sinced moved on, but we still like to get together with them occasionally for some Chick Fil A or somewhere else.  Mr. Jeff is always the best sport and lets the kids climb all over him...he will be a great grandpa one day!

The Simpsons have the farm that we used to go to for our class Hayride/Cookout and Easter Egg Hunt.  Carter loves to fish out there, and pretty much just be out on the farm with him.  They also invite us to several Football and Basketball games with them...we love that!

We are so blessed to know the Simpsons and have them as a part of our lives.  They love us and our kids, and we could go to them for anything.

Thanks to Jeff & Dana for being such great examples of who I hope we grow up to be.

Very SPECIAL Day!

This guy and I got married 11 years ago today, man how time flies!!!  I grow more and more in love with Chris every day.  He is a hard worker, GREAT father, and he puts up with A LOT from me.  If you know me I have several different things I am involved in and Chris is always there to support me.  He deserves a medal for putting up with me every day!

11 years...3 homes...4 kids...3 wonderful churches...started a small business (now not so small)...wonderful friends and family there for support...all these things and many more made us who we are today and brought us this far.  Thanks to so many things that have shaped our relationship.  I can't wait to continue to grow in our relationship and see where we are in years to come.

I love you Chris Flynt!

Girls Last Day!

Yesterday was the girls last day of school and their end of the year program.  Molly got to join in the fun this time and sit up on stage.  They were all so cute, Molly was a flower, Kennedy a Ladybug and Bailey was a Bumble Bee.  And I know you will be surprised to know that Kennedy was very dramatic and into the singing, Bailey didn't MOVE a muscle, and Molly actually sang some and smiled.  I love seeing them up there, even if they don't sing much.  It's just not Bailey's thing.  :(

Here is Molly & Mrs. Weida, we will miss her this summer, but Molly will have her again next year so we are excited!  By the way, although this picture isn't the best, its better than her sour face that she had in the fall when she started.

Bailey & Kennedy with Mrs. Ford..such sweet pictures

Here was Molly walking in, she was so cute!

And these special people always make a point to be at all the kids stuff...we are VERY lucky to have Papa Webb and Nana Flynt there to celebrate with our kids.

Our STRONG - WILLED One!!!

So this little girl is the perfect final child!!!!  She is the sweetest and the meanest all at the same time.  We love our little Molly Claire!  She has brought us so much joy and laughter, and although not planned (definitely by Chris) I can't imagine my life without her.  I always thought Bailey was our strong willed child until we had Molly, and she took over.

I love that she has her mind made up about things (well sometimes I don't ha) and is going to stick to them no matter what.  And she totally knows how to the play the game, for instance we tell her "eat your food or we are going to give it to Bailey, and she says go ahead."

Her vocabulary is better than any of my other kids at her age (well maybe not Kennedy), and she thinks that she is SO big.  She started wearing big girl panties, and is doing such a good job with it.

She is our only child that really has a "blankie" and she loves it...we were at a birthday party the other day, and a baby there had the same blanket as her, she kept smelling it...so funny!

This little girl lights up my life, and am grateful that God has given her to us...strong-willed and all!

I love you Molly Claire!

Baby B...Not Anymore!

Baby B was what she was referred to for so long, and now look how big she has gotten.  I love how she is becoming more and more confident each day in everything she does.  I love that she will tell you what she is thinking all the time.  I don't always like her attitude, but that happens to most kids.  She is so sweet, caring, and loves playing with baby dolls.  She is the one that will sit for hours playing by herself, and when Carter and Kennedy are busy with there legos, she will get Molly and go find something for them to play with.

Her and Kennedy truly are best friends, and most of the time they are so nice and loving to each other.  Bailey is VERY hard headed (I say she gets that from her dad), and I love and hate that at the same time.

There have been times that I have gotten to go to the store, doctor, hospital, shopping, etc with just Bailey and those are always special times.

She has the prettiest voice, but if you ask her if she will sing at her end of the year program tomorrow for school she will say no.  She totally fools everyone at home and school...she knows exactly what she is doing as soon as she walks into school and stops talking as much, etc.

Looking at old pictures of Nana Flynt and Amber most people would think she is not mine.  Just like Kennedy is a mini me, Bailey is definitely a mini Nana and Amber.  I love how different the girls are, and next year when we separate them in prek I can't wait to see how they each grow and develop on their own.

I thank God daily for blessing us with twins, although, I am not sure why he did I am grateful none the less.  I can't imagine having a better friend than the one that was born 1 min before you.  I hope they always love each other the way they do now.

I love you Bailey Nicole!

Mini Me....

If I have said it once I have said it a thousand times...Kennedy is a mini me!!!  I can't push it off on Chris, she is ME!!  And let me tell you that is scary, especially when most days I know I did the exact same things growing up and even some things I do now!

This little girl is a SASSY little one.  She loves jewelry, playing dress up, and of course bossing people around.  Her facials are hilarious as well as her manorisms, I mean this girl cracks Chris and I up most nights.

The other night I came home from walking, and Chris was putting up the new mailbox.  And with the new mailbox came replacing the numbers on the post, she preceded to tell Chris that he had to put those on the post to make it pretty.  I mean really, this girl is crazy.  She is also the one that asked when she could get her ears pierced the other day!  And then went and told Chris, "don't you think it would be cool if I got my ears pierced."  I mean I can't make this stuff up.

Crazy but man how much I love her.  I love that she is BEST friends with Bailey, and takes such good care of Bailey and Molly.  She is always willing to help me fold clothes and put them up, as well as, other chores around the house.  She is one of the best colorers I have seen at the age of 4.  She can write her name, and everyone elses.  She LOVES Boaz (remember Magan's boyfriend), and if you knew me when I was younger...I was one boy crazy little girl.  God help us with this little one!!!  She is our only child with a family name, and how fitting that it is a family name from my side and she acts like me...its like God knew.
I am glad that out of 4 kids I got at least one mini me!!!  She is such a special little girl, and I love that God gave her to us to raise.  I know that He has wonderful things in life for her, and pray that I can be a strong example for her in all walks of life.

I love my Kennedy Lee!

First Swim of Season...

It all started on Friday afternoon when the kids went up to the Roughley's house.  I got there after work to find them all in the pool with their clothes on.  I guess its time to get the swimsuits out.  The pool at Crissy's was only about 70, but that didn't phase them.

Then on Sunday we went over to Nana's house to swim, and again the pool wasn't over 75 degrees probably, but they didn't care.  They begged all day to go over there.  And although they didn't last that long in the pool, they still had fun.

I love that we have 2 pools very close to our house that we can use to beat the heat....we love Summertime here in the Flynt House!

Don't be jealous....

Yes, that is duck tape holding our mailbox to the post...ha.  I came home on Wednesday night from Awana to this.  Isn't my husband awesome.

He had to replace our post and he wanted to get a new mailbox but hadn't done that yet, but he still wanted mail so duck tape it is.  He is hilarious...at least he thinks he is.   ENJOY and again don't be jealous!!

Sweet Wyatt...

This sweet boy turned 3 a couple weeks ago, but today we got to celebrate with him.  Candy made it a day full of penguins, and every kind of penguin snack you can think of.  It was so fun, thanks Wyatt for sharing this special time with us.

The Birthday Boy...love him

All of my kiddos with Candy's.  Its very rarely that we can get them all looking at the camera, I think this is a first!!!!  I love that my kids love Candy and her kids, makes having her as a BEST FRIEND even better.

Candy and all her BOYS, not the best picture, but you can truly see her blessings!

Wyatt, thanks for spending your special day with us, and sharing all your favorite snacks.

My Buddy...My Buddy

Today Carter had Buddy Day (field day) at school.  At his school you team up with someone and compete in different activities all day.  To say Carter was SO excited was an understatement.  I got to take Paige to school today as well, and then made them pose for a picture.  They look so big!!!  I can't believe that these 2 are about to be 1st graders.  So amazing.

Carter and his buddy Hayden (who he wanted)

Doing a water game...

And of course me and my buddy!!!  It was great to get to help set up this day for him, and to hang with him at school for a little bit.  Blessed!!!!

Diaper Cake

So if you know me at all you know that I am NOT crafty at all.  I try sometimes to pretend that I am, but really I am not.  Well, I am helping to throw a baby shower tonight, and this lady in our office made a diaper cake just like this one not too long ago.  So, with her help of course, I made one for the shower tonight.  It is SO CUTE and super easy, and if I am saying it then it is TRUE!!!  And the best part is it contains all the essential items that you will need for the baby other than just diapers.

Graduation

Last Friday night we went to see our sweet Magan graduate from Lifeway.  The kids actually did really well throughout the whole graduation, it did help that they kept seeing their teachers, Magan and her friends (their friends).  We are so proud of Magan, and can't wait to see what she accomplishes, well we can wait until after this summer so that they can hang out and do "lots of things" as the girls keep reminding me they are going to do.

This is Molly and Mrs. Weida, her MDO teacher.  We love Mrs. Weida and are so excited that she will have her again next year.  When she walked in before the graduates, Molly yelled its my Weida...I almost died.  :)

And here is the infamous Magan again.  She was definitely a celebrity for them that night.  I am not exaggerating when I say they LOVE her.  We are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Helping her open her gift...
