A little jumping and a little cake...

We had the girls 5th Birthday party at Jumpzone this year.  They had such a good time, and let me tell you it was the most stress-free party I have every thrown.

My friend Meika has made all of our kids cakes this year, and I think she did amazing on the girls cakes.  This was the first time that we had 2 separate themes for their party, and I think that turned out good...

All the kids jumped, slid, and bounced for over an hour...I think they all loved every minute of it too!

Although Papa didn't jump he did make an appearance...
And these 3 older kids (Hanna, Boaz & Magan) are some of the girls favorite people.  You think I am kidding, but I am not.  They pray for them nightly, and can't stay out of their arms when they are around.  Boaz is in the army and was in town for his 2 week break, and came to two 5 year olds birthday party...he is a trooper.
Thanks to all the girls friends and family that came and made their birthday party a blast...
I am pretty sure it is not only the girls that love Boaz...this little guy does too!

Frozen...

Saturday before Christmas we decided to take the kids to see Frozen.  And they loved it, well the girls did for sure, by the end Kennedy was singing all the songs.  I really liked it a lot, Chris wasn't a big fan of the singing which is what I liked about it.  Ha...

Can't you tell he is so excited...

This little girl loved it!!!!
Here is everyone after...what a fun family night!

Special Lunchtime...

The Friday before Christmas break for the kids was a special day...we had the girls birthday party at school, class Christmas parties, and the girls had a little program.  But probably my favorite time of the day was getting to eat lunch with all my little ones.  They ask all the time, and since I spent the whole day at the school helping PTO, I took advantage of lunchtimes.  It was fun to eat with all of them, and see their little friends...

Me and my almost 5 year olds...

Then came 1st grade lunchtime...and these 2 boys are crazy.  You get to pick one friend to sit with you and Carter chose Merrick...
Then it was "a Christmas miracle" (Paige's words) that she got to sit by us too.  I was so honored to get to sit with her as well...

What a lucky lady I was...

The Littlest Bell that Could Not Ring...

Last Thursday we went and saw Carter and Paige in their 1st grade Christmas Program.  Both of them again this year had a speaking part and they did SO good with it (what are the odds...2 years in a row).  Love these 2 oldest cousins, and glad they get to go through life with each other.

Carter doing his part...
Paige waiting patiently for Carter to do his part after she was done with hers...

These 3 have been friends since PreK when they were all in Mrs. Hunter's class.  Well, they are all in Mrs. Knoedl's class this year...they are loving it together!

Here is Carter and the lovely Mrs. Knoedl...she is 5 months pregnant and you can't even tell!

Carter and Paige had lots of family come to watch them in their program, we love all of you that came out to see and support them.

Don't these 2 just look adorable?!?!?!?!?

Happy Birthday Jesus Party!

We had our annual Happy Birthday Jesus party for Molly's MDO class last Thurs.  Last year I was doing the twins party, so Chris attended hers, so I was excited I got to go this year.  We had a good time, we made a craft, decorated cookies, and read the Christmas Story.  It was fun to see her with all her little friends.

Her and friend Macie...they are besties!

And her favorite teacher...Mrs. Weida.  We are so blessed to have had her for 2 years now, and we love her even more this year than last.

Happy 5th Birthday Kennedy & Bailey!

These 2 sweet blessings turn 5 at this exact moment.  I can remember arriving at the hospital and being in the delivery room.  Some of the best memories was seeing their little faces, as the doctor got them out and showed them to me.  It seems crazy to think that they are 5!  We have been blessed every day because of these 2, and I can't wait to see what the next year holds.

We were able to celebrate the girls on their actual birthday at Jumpzone, more to come from there later!
Happy 5th Birthday girls, We Love You!!!

Elbow...Round 2

You all remember me talking about my friend Renae...she is the one I do this with :)

Back in August she had surgery on her elbow after she broke it playing Softball with work.  Well, the first one was not as successful as she had hoped.  So, she went back in for surgery once again this morning.  Please keep her in your prayers.  She doesn't get to come home for Christmas to see her family, and she will spend most of it in pain more than likely!  Please lift up my dear friend Renae today if you think about it!
Love you Renae, and wish I was there to help you!

Who needs snow...

On Sunday night we went over to some friends house to eat dinner and hang out, and we had the best time!  And the kids...well, they had a GREAT time together.  They literally pushed, pulled, drug this sled around the house all night.  The girls played princess, the boys had nerf gun wars...it was a fun filled night!  We love the Peters and are glad that we got to hang out with them and their sweet kids...

I am thinking Braeson has the worst part of the job...

Hanging out with Little Man...

Saturday Carter and I got to hang out, and the best part was we didn't do anything extravogant, but had the best time.  And at the end of the day hearing Carter say, "thanks for letting me hang out with you today" made it all worth it.

The girls had a makeup gymnastics class, so while Chris took the girls, Carter went with me to get my nails done.  I know NO fun for him, but he actually got a chair massage and literally talked about it all day!  He even picked out my nail color, and talked me into getting some nail art on my ring finger...gotta love it.  Then we met up with Chris and girls for lunch, then off to Walmart we went.  And let's just say it was CRAZY!!!!  But he was a big help with the groceries, and then helped me unload them when we got home.

Again, although we didn't do much, we had a great time.  I love getting to spend time with each of my kids individually.  And most of the time Carter wants to hang out at home playing or outside or something.  So, this was a special treat for both of us.

Sorry for the picture, not the best in the world, I am pretty sure he had food in his mouth.  But a picture of us none the less...

Celebrating Paige...Rollar Skating Style...

Paige was a lucky little girl..you see it started snowing/sleeting the night before her birthday so she got a snow day for her BIG 7th birthday!  That didn't stop us from going over there that afternoon and playing in the snow with her, and then getting a chance to celebrate with some of her friends come Sunday.  We are so excited about Paige turning 7!  All the kids had a great time skating, even Chris!

I just can't get enough of these 2...

She was little miss independent...she loved skating!
 Even Molly loved it!

Snow and Forts...

Tricked you...I am sure you thought we built forts outside...NOT!  This is what my kids did all week, and had a great time doing it.  They were up until last night before bed, since they were all going back to school the forts went away.  I took a picture of Carter's as he literally set up shop in there.  He would play in there for hours, reading, coloring, listening to music and playing the kindle.  The girls had one too, but Carter's was way more advanced!  :)

I think they all had a great time, but they were all definitely ready to go back today!

Finals Day...

Today is the day that Chris gives his FIRST college FINAL!!!  He is so excited, and although he has had a good time teaching, I think he is just as ready for this final as the students are.  And of course again when I ask him for a picture for his big FINAL day, this is what I got.  NO HOPE!!!!

Happy Final Day Chris, I know you will do great!  :)

Giant Sledding Hill...

On Sunday we went over to some friend's house and played in the snow.  They live in Bella Vista, and have a pretty good hill beside their house, so off with The Parker (Rhino) we went.  The funny thing is, it was the Parker's house that we went to.  Anyway, our kids love to play with their kids (they have 6), so it was a good time.  People looked at us weird I am sure, as it is ice covered roads, and here we are pulling a trailer with a Rhino on it..I know crazy FUN!  We grabbed some pizzas and off we went.

After we ate, we got all bundled up to play out side the front of their house, and then the boys took the big kids to the HILL and we kept the littles at home in the warmth as they wouldn't have lasted that long.  We had such a good time!

These 2 sweeties have earned a special place in my heart as well as my kids...they especially love Paisley (on the left), and Whitley (on right) has the biggest blue eyes and blonde hair...love it.
This little monkey is crazy, she kept throwing ice blocks at me...
Here is our Kennedy, their Kennedy and Bailey...

This is just in front of their house, Carter was so excited about the giant hill that they went to after.  Kennedy and Bailey were too, except they thought it was exciting because they rode the rhinos and sat in them the whole time...
another snow angel...can you tell she loves to make these...
And the little sledding, she had a blast...
