Chris went to Memphis this weekend to work on our rent house there...yes we have a house in TN, and if you are looking for one let me know. :) Anyway, this is what I found the kids doing on Saturday morning, they were playing so well together and even letting Molly be involved. It's a little hard to keep her out of things these days.

Overflow presents...
Last Sunday night our children's choirs (Overflow) at our church performed their end of the year programs. They did such a good job! I have been very blessed to work with Overflow this semester as a leader, the 4th-6th graders that I got to know have meant so much to me.
This is the 4 yr olds - K...Carter and Paige did a great job, and I think it is just preparing them for Tuesday when they do their end of the year program at school. Sorry for picture quality...it was with my phone. My sister in law (Addington Blog) got a video of them singing and has it on her blog.

Mena Bearcats
Last weekend my cousin Kaitlyn graduated from Mena High School. So, my dad, Carter and I made the trip down for the graduation. It was so fun to be a part of her special night, and it was great to hang out with family and friends. I used to go to Mena all the time when I was younger and stay with my aunt, I am hoping to get better at taking my kids there to hang out with their cousins. Maybe they will meet a lifelong friend there like I did.
Kaitlyn...
Carter and Tessa, she is the daughter of my good friend Tiffany that lives in Mena. Tiffany used to live across the street from my aunt, and that is where our friendship begins. Tessa and Carter played so well together, I can't wait for her to meet the girls.

A trip to the FARM...
What do chickens, peacocks, birds, and dogs all have in common...Granny's House. And that is where we spent our Mother's Day, in YELLVILLE, AR. Granny's 75th birthday was occuring, so we all surprised her by coming to visit. It was a lot of fun to see her and Pop's face when we got there, I think they were truly surprised and excited to have a house full of people. And when I say house full, that is what I mean, between 7 kids, 9 adults, 3 dogs, the birds it was a FULL but HAPPY house. Thanks to Granny for allowing us to come visit and play, and thanks to Aunt Tonya and Nana for the invite.
I love this picture...the older of the grandkids for Nana with Tonya, and Granny
The girls and bubbles...

These 3 crack me up...Brady found some lucky charms in Paisleys bag and decided he wanted to eat them. But when one fo them have food the others are not far behind. Brady was such a good sharer of his food.

Me and the kiddos on Mother's Day, I am extremely blessed!!!

Bike ride, picnic and playtime
We are a part of a great playgroup that meets at least once a month. Its a great group of ladies and kids that we have a great time with and try to do new things with throughout the year. I have grown to love these ladies very much, and my kids love the other kids as well. Last Friday we did a bike, picnic and play at Memorial Park playdate. I was a little leary at first, but the kids did great riding their bikes the whole time, and well the others did great riding in strollers as well. It was perfect weather, and the kids really enjoyed it. Carter did tell me that he got tired when we were on our way back, but he kept going.
Here is the group that came to the playdate...we normally have more that come, but this was a perfect number for the ride (and don't worry I got permission from everyone to post this picture...haha)
Here are the bigger kids, they did such a great job stopping where we told them and waiting on us to catch up
Bailey loved just hanging here...

Who needs tea parties?
The girls decided to have a "tea party" the other morning after Carter went to school. It was so funny to see them sit all of their dolls down and then go get the bottled water out of the pantry...Sorry for the crazy hair

Big Wheels keep on Turning...
This past weekend we celebrated Chris's grandpa's 75th birthday with a little fun at Nana Flynt. We had some visitors from Texas bless us with their presence at the party, and let me just tell you when they come in it is a riot. It is so fun when all the cousins get to hang out, and as crazy as we all are when the day is done, I don't think any of us would change a thing. Check out my sister in laws blog post from this week...http://russlightnerfam.blogspot.com/2011/05/1-2-4-11-75.html Here are a few pictures of the kids, of course I didn't get a picture of the birthday boy, oh well, always next year.
Paisley and Molly staying inside out of the craziness that occured outside. They are both getting so big and going everywhere...Paisley is more of the traditional crawler and well Molly gets everywhere with a seal type approach.
This picture just sums it all up, you may have to click on it to see it bigger, but so funny. Between big wheels, little tikes cars, and balls I think the kids had a great time...I love it! Can you see the fun they were having, going down the hill and making the adults bring them back up.
She loves the big wheels, and hated it everytime Dane had to carry her back up the hill because she wouldn't get off...thanks Uncle Dane

Shoe Fetish...
To say Kennedy is obsessed with shoes is an understatement. She wakes up every morning and before she leaves her room she gets a pair of shoes out of her closet and puts them on. She will wear shoes all day and night if we would let her. And believe me she has tried...she did go to bed with some on the other night. Well, this particular morning, I went into the room after she came out with some on and noticed she had nicely put a pair out for Bailey to wear...how sweet right?
