My Kinda Party

For Christmas I got Chris tickets to see Jason Aldean when he came to Barnhill Arena this past weekend. Jason was joined by Eric Church (not my favorite) and Jane Deer Girls, and was a great concert. If you have ever seen my kids when a Jason Aldean song comes on then you know they all go crazy and start playing their "drums" and "guitars." So, through the entire concert I could just picture them dancing and singing each song. We had a great date night, and a big thanks goes out to Nana Flynt for keeping our rugrats.

Snow Days

On Thursday last week we got close to 6 inches of snow, and therefore, school was closed on Thursday for the kids. So, my dad with just Molly turned into a day with all the kids. It was a good day, we made Valentines cookies, and got to play in the snow. The girls did not last that long, but at least we got some pictures of them before they came in.

Kennedy did not like the sled that much...

Carter and Paige enjoying the sled and being pulled by Chris

A lot of chaos around the house...

We are in the process of moving the kids rooms around to finally find a fit for Molly. So, Chris has worked for hours getting walls painted and beds moved so that everyone will have their space. Carter had to sleep for a few nights on a mattress in the living room since his room was being painted, but he loves doing that so it wasn't a big deal for him.

Here are the kids on the first morning Carter slept in the living room. I can't believe he slept through the girls climbing all over him...don't they look happy though.

Molly loves it when her brother and sisters read to her

Snakes, Spiders, and Fish

Our playgroup tries to do different stuff each month, and this past month we decided to go on a tour of Petco. It was much better than I thought it would be, and I learned a lot so hopefully the kids did as well.

Nana would not like this too much, it looks like Kennedy is about to touch the snake.

I just think this is a really cool picture of the lizard with its mouth open...

Highlighting Molly

Molly sometimes doesn't get in the pictures because if we are out somewhere she stays in the carrier. So, here are some updated pics of Molly. She is 3 1/2 mths old now, and gets cuter as the days go by. She still has her own little look. Somedays she looks like Carter/Bailey and others she looks more like Kennedy. It really is so crazy.

My friend Renae lives in NC, and has seen everyone of my children in the hospital except poor Molly. I know Renae hated it as much as I did. She finally got to meet her over Christmas. Such a sweet picture...

Rolling in the New Year!

One of the older couples in our church invites some people to come roller skate on New Years Eve. They are such a precious couple, and have most of our kids in the nursery or in the preschool department at sometime in our lives. This is our 2nd year to be invited, and Carter loves it. The girls liked it as long as they were being held by Chris and I, even Molly got to go around in her stroller, she loved it as well.

Getting ready to go...

Carter had some mad skills...

Not real sure, Bailey was the most affected by being out there

This picture is just funny because he skated with his hands in his pockets most of the time...crazy kid

Daddy's little girl...and don't think I'm kidding...

Christmas Galore

We had a great Christmas this year, and I think the kids had a great time opening all their presents. Here is a collection of pictures:

Kennedy saw the pillow pets first thing...

Bailey got a puzzle and although she won't do it now, she will eventually love them I'm sure

On the other hand, Carter loves himself some puzzles

Kennedy throwing a FIT!!! Gotta love it

This is what Molly did while we opened gifts, just wanted you to know she was here!

She finally woke up and opened her gifts...I mean really what do you get a 3 mth old.

Carter got some dominoes from the girls for Christmas, and he LOVES them

I wanted to show this picture, because this is how she unwrapped everying...ONE PIECE AT A TIME!

I think he watches his dad a little too much

Not only did we get gifts, but we ATE A TON!!! Here are all the kiddos, minus Molly and Paisley eating popcorn watching a movie at Nana Flynts

And apparently I was very good this year...Chris surprised me with new furniture. He picked it out himself, and with the help of his little elf Ryan he delivered and set it up so when we came home on Christmas Eve it was here. I love it, he did a great job and am very glad to get rid of the old stuff that had spit up all over it.

I love the red footstool, it brings out the other red that we have throughout our living room. Now to get new pillows, and other stuff to give my living room a new look...he had no idea what he was getting himself into. :)
