Scary Movie...Chris...What?!?!?!?!

On Saturday night after our class SS hayride, I actually got Chris to go to a scary movie with me...I mean this is a VERY rare occasion, but I was very excited he went with me.  We went with 2 other couples, both of which are a part of my scary movie group (yes I have a group).

Thanks Chris for taking one for the team and going to see Carrie...it wasn't even scary!

Annual Hayride...

This past weekend we had our annual SS class hayride/cookout.  And as in years past, it does not dissappoint.  We had such a great time of fellowship, jousting, and some great food (which included a bucket of BBQ sauce...seriously a bucket, Chris was in heaven).

Our wonderful hosts, The Murphys, rented several inflatables to keep the kids entertained throughout the night, well and some adults as well.

Me and my friend Jennifer decided to give it a go...I am WAY too competitive (I know that is a surprise)

The rule was we weren't gonna hit at the head...do you think she followed that?  Ha
Then it was time for the hayride, and the kids had a blast.  Molly and Macie are in MDO together, don't they look like they could be twins.

My friend Jennifer and her daughter Lexi and me and Kennedy!
The girls and their friend Adyson Bowers (they use her full name)...and Mrs. Erin in the background.
We are so blessed by a wonderful SS class, and are grateful for our fellowships with them.  There were 70+ people there, but you never would have known it.  They kids had a blast, and the adults could visit.  Thankful and blessed!!!

Fall Fest 2013

Friday night was Carter, Kennedy and Bailey's fall fest at their school.  So, off we went to enjoy some games, chili, and lots of candy.  The kids had a great time, and even I dressed up as a Cowgirl...although there are no pics to verify :)

 Painting pumpkins...

We were so excited to run into the Addingtons and pose for a quick picture...we were missing Paige however...
but then met up with her later.  Bailey thought it was so cool to be dressed like Paige.  :)
 Our strong superheros...
Carter and his teacher Mrs. Knoedl...we love her!!!  She is pregnant with her first baby in April, we are so excited for her!
It was a great time, can't wait again until next year!  Well, maybe we can...ha

Lunch with a couple 1st graders...

This last week while I was in LA (and NO I didn't see any famous people) :(...Chris was again amazing!  He spent his Wed having lunch with 2 amazing little 1st graders, and then went to the pumpkin patch with Kennedy and Bailey.  What a great dad!  I am so glad that I get to share this life with him, and that he wants to go to these things with the kids.

This was from the elevator to my room in our hotel in LA...this was the first time I saw sunlight on one of the days.  I went out there for a Network of Executive Leadership Summit, and we were in meetings literally all day!  Oh well, the weather was perfect, and when we did get out of the hotel it was pretty!

Chris eating with Carter and Paige...what a treat!!!

Tree Climbing Fun...

On Sunday night we were at Nana's house eating our typical Sunday night dinner, and the kids were playing outside while we were cooking.  They were all literally in one tree at the same time.  These kids could have played there for hours.  They were hanging upside down, climbing and swinging off of everything.  Its so fun to see all 7 of them play together, and with something as simple as climbing a tree.  Love these days...

He actually climbed pretty high in the tree, and wanted me to take a picture of him...little monkey!

My Pumpkin Heads...

Let the Halloween/Fall times begin...Chris and Carter (mainly Chris) carved a pumpkin this afternoon.  The of course they had to "model" their final carving.

I sure do love these 2 pumpkin heads...

Silly girls and lazy days...

We have some very silly girls...from conversations they have with each other, us and the games they play, I think we have the funniest girls.  On Friday I worked from home, so Molly and I got to hang out.  We went into town during the morning and ran some errands, one of which was getting a new phone.  This girl was hilarious in the store, from playing will all the phone covers and the chairs that went up and down (thanks Chris for showing her that), and then she saw the Razorback.  She of course had to have her picture taken with him.  The funniest thing came when she looked up at Chris and I and said when can I get a phone.  I mean really, she is 3!!!!  We have no hope with any of them, especially her!

Today, was one of the first just do nothing Saturdays that we have had in a while!  It was a day to just hang out in pjs, play, and clean.  Carter had a friend stay the night on Friday night, so they boys were locked in his room playing, and the girls...well they were being girls!  They have this thing now that they do, where they lay on each other...well I love this picture.  Kennedy is just chilling, while Molly is crying and Bailey is laughing!  Love it!!!

Private Lessons...

Last night we had gymnastics, and it ended up being a private lesson for the girls.  Not sure where the other 2 little girls were, but our girls definitely enjoyed being the only ones in the room.  Look at that jump from Molly, that girls has some ups... :)

Back to the BIG Apple...

So, last week on my birthday I actually got a promotion!!  YAH!  But with that came a last minute trip back to NY for some innovation meetings with our teams there.  So, Monday off I went with several other people from our Bentonville office to the BIG Apple!

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn right down from the Empire State Building, and I was on the 27th floor.  This was my view...breath-taking!
We also experienced some new places to eat while there.  We went to this place called the corner...however, don't let the picture deceive you...we ate underground.  Yep, we had to give our "party" name at the top of these stairs to these 2 guys...then we were told to walk downstairs through the kitchen and you would arrive at your place.  So, we actually walked through the kitchen and ended up at this quant little restaurant.  It was so fun, I actually felt like I was meet the mob for a meeting...HA!  This place can only be eaten at with a reservation, and only if you know the owner...you can't just find this number online, etc.  Needless to say, we felt very special!
This was our appetizer...this was the best corn on the cob ever!  It was smothered in parmesian cheese...YUMMO!
These are 2 of the other managers that I work with...Jennifer and Sarah, we had a great time.
Then last night we went to the place called Freeman's Alley, and it was amazing!  But just like the name, it was at the end of an alley on some side road...again very weird, but great food!

Although, a quick trip it was a good one, and definitely learned a lot about my new role.  And in case you were wondering, Chris did another awesome job with the kids!  Their goal...survival, and they met that goal!

Future Lions...

The other night at the Homecoming game, Carter and his friend Merrick spent most of their night running back and forth "playing" football in front of us (future Lions if you ask me).  He tends to do this at all the games, but this time it was with one of his best friends Merrick.  This little guy is the sweetest little boy, and I love that him and Carter became friends in PreK and have continued to be friends.  He also has to deal with 3 sisters at home, so I think they have a lot in common.  :)

#NeverYield...

So this past weekend my office decided to do a family tailgate event before the game.  So, off we went to the UofA, and since we were there with all the kids decided we would take them to a game...it was the first one for the girls.  It started out raining when we left our house, but turned out to be the perfect day!

This was on the way to the game...we were all so excited!
Luckily the rain that you see on the back glass quite when we got to the tailgate tent...
Carter loves him some Razorback football games, and I think they all enjoyed the donuts, CFA, and other food goodies that they had prior to the game...

This happened to be the best part of the game for the Razorbacks...kick-off and opening drive.  It looked so promising on this drive, then we all fell apart...but I still LOVE those HOGS!
We had the perfect seats, especially for haivng all 4 kids there...We were in the RED back seats in the endzone...close to the cheerleaders, dancers and the band...PERFECT!  Molly danced everytime the band played, and by the end of the day Bailey knew the words to the FIGHT SONG!!!  Let me tell you, there is not a lot more that makes this sports fanatic in me happier than to hear your kids singing the Fight Song!!!
Pics with me and the fam...

Loved our first Razorback game as a family, and honestly we had the best time!  The kids loved it and were really good.
This one...well she feel asleep at the game.  I am not sure how that happen, especially since we were so close to the band, but it did.  It brought back some memories of Candy falling asleep at a NASCAR event several years ago...don't know how they do it, but they do!
Love my little RAZORBACK family, and sharing this special memory with them...
As we were waiting on a corner (yep on a corner) for Chris to get the truck and come back to get us, we saw these 2 cheerleaders.  They were sweet enough to stop and take a picture with the kids.  One of my favorites of the day...
And even though the game was horrible for us...I will never stop cheering for my HOGS!!!

The Webb Girls...

Well, sorry I have been away for a few days, but we have been busy.  But I am back now, I know you all were missing us... HA :)

On Friday, I took off work and spent the day at the HS doing Homecoming stuff.  It was a crazy day but fun, and the best part I got to be a part of homecoming with these 2 sweet girls.  They are my cousins Ashlyn (L) and Halle (R) - Lance & Misty's kids, and let me tell you I love these girls.  They have babysat my kids for several years now, and they actually bring them home from school this year, and then Halle stays with them until I get home.  My kids love them, and were so excited to see how pretty they looked at the game on Friday night.  Molly kept saying don't they look SO SO pretty...hilarious.

Ashlyn is a Senior...man can't believe she is a Senior, and Halle is a Freshman.  I am so excited that they both got to share this special time together before Ashlyn graduates.

I love this picture of all of us, but man don't I look short?!?!?!?

It was a great day and we finished it off with a WIN in overtime against Ozark.  They kids had a great time, the weather was perfect football weather, and my kids got to see "princesses" in their pretty dresses...I call that a perfect night!

I Am Spoiled...

Yesterday was my very special day, and everyone from this guy to my co-workers made me feel very special...

Started out the morning with a lady bringing me cinnamon rolls from Sweet D's (if you haven't had one from there you should).  Then I had lunch with my boss and VP at Mojitos (cheese dip...yummy), and then finished it off with some strawberry cake from Rick's.  So, as you can tell...I ATE ALL DAY!!!  It was so yummy though, and I would do it all over again!
Then Chris sent me a message telling me his mom was coming over to watch the kids so we could go out to dinner...as if I needed more food.  HA...None the less, we went to dinner and have some amazing food!

Everyone made me feel so special with calls, texts, emails, cards, etc...I have the best friends and family!

Southern Rock Racing...

Well, this weekend I found my new profession...Rock Crawler...

We were invited by some of our friends from SS to go to Hot Springs this weekend for camping and the Souther Rock Racing Finals Event.  We haven't been camping since we lived in Memphis, and oh how I have missed it!  So, off we went on Friday afternoon.  Chris and I were in charge of hauling the "toys," while others hauled their RVs.

Here we are getting gas for our long trip...there will be more stories on gas later on this weekend.  :)

It started raining Sat morning when we left camp, so we got some trash sacks and covered up and off we went.  It was VERY muddy, but I loved every minute of it.
Getting set to watch the first of 3 events...
Here is our group of 18 at the last event. The good thing about this weekend, I knew about half of the people and the other half were new friends that we made.  We were all very similar, and just had a good time hanging out at the event and then by the campfire at night.  Definitely made some new friends from this weekend...
Me and my scary movie girls...this was definitely right up our alley, and I am almost positive I will be cheering on Danielle (left) one day while she does this.  There were 2 girls in the event and they rocked it!
Us girls all had to have a pic...
On Sunday we went and ate downtown Hot Springs at the Pancake House (I definitely recommend it), and then we walked about all the fun shops there.  We stopped of course for some group pics...some of the couples had left to head back, so we missed them but still had fun touring the town.

We did our own version of Rock Crawling..

It was a great weekend with friends and just relaxing...and you ask what my kids did all weekend?  Well, don't feel sorry for them, they stayed with Aunt Debbie and had the best time!  Thanks to Debbie and Joe for having my kids and showing them such a good time!

Can't wait again until next year, or the next Rock Crawling event... :)
