Farm living is the life for me...

Our Sunday School class had our annual Hayride/Cookout at our teacher's farm. It is a great place for the kids to fish, look at horses and of course go on a hayride. We love this social, and I think the kids do as well. One of my friends took a family picture of all of us, but it was too small and blurry when I tried to put it on here. I will hopefully get it on here eventually as we don't have a family picture of all of us yet.

First came the fishing...which the kids enjoyed


Carter caught the first fish...Paige was the first one that wanted to hold it.

Then came the hayride...lots of kids and dads. Most of the moms got to stay back and talk and eat, it was nice

We gave roasting marshmellows a whole new meaning...they were huge, if you haven't seen these in the store you should check them out. To me it was too much, but Bailey, Kennedy and Justus sure did enjoy them.

1 Month Old

It is hard to believe that our last little one is already 1 month old. She is getting so big and is a very alert little girl. That probably has a lot to do with the fact that 3 little ones scream at her all day. We love our little Molly, and are very blessed by her.

Here are her stats:
11lbs 5ozs
23 1/4"

She did great at her month checkup, until she spit up all over me because she had just eaten and the doctor pushed all over her stomach. Oh well, the joys of motherhood.

We are still unsure who she looks like completely. There are times she looks like both Chris and I, so I guess only time will tell

Smitten

I have some very smitten girls with Molly...especially Bailey. They both love to hold her and kiss on her, and are very concerned when she is crying. Anytime she is down on the ground they are right beside her. Hope they always like her this much.



It looks like they match, but they really don't...Bailey LOVES Molly and always wants to be right beside her

More Pumpkin Fun

On Saturday we went out to the corn maze with some of our friends from church. We never got to the corn maze itself, but there were a lot of other fun things for the kids to do.

Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday our playgroup ventured out to McGarrah Farms in Pea Ridge. The kids had a great time, and go to do a lot of different things. It was a "private" party for our group, which was good considering we had around 40 people there, and most of them were kids.

Here are all the kids when we first got there. Molly slept the whole time, which was a blessing, and the girls got to run all over without any worries.

The pile of hay I think was the BEST part of the day for most of the kids...they would climb up and jump off about a million times.

Here are the rugrats on the hayride, yes Molly went on a hayride at 2 1/2 wks old...can't say that any of my other ones have gotten to do that. Glad there were sides on the trailer, it was perfect for the amount of kids we had

We love our playgroup and the kids were glad that they got to do the pumpkin patch with all of their friends.

Starting early

Have I mention what a great BIG BROTHER Carter is with his sisters? Well, if not, he is a GREAT one. He is so sweet to Molly, he loves to kiss and hug her, and especially hold her. Well, last night I came in to find him reading to Molly while she was chilling in the bouncy seat. It was so funny to hear him read, and then laugh once he would read something I guess he thought was funny. She loved the attention, especially when everyone joined in on the reading.



They all wanted to read her their own story or bring her their toy...so good at sharing with her for now at least. :)

2 wks old and Morris visit

Wanted to share some pictures of Molly at 2 weeks. She is getting so big. When we went back for her 1 wk visit she was already past birth weight at 8lbs 11ozs and 20 1/2". She is still a great eater and sleeper. Nothing really bothers her as far as noise, which is good in our household.



Our friends Renee and Sallie came to visit one night and brought us dinner. We missed having Rich here, but it was great to spend some time with most of the Morris bunch. Thanks Renee for the Penquin Eds BBQ, it was YUMMY!!!! Here is Renee and Miss Molly.


Doesn't this group look like trouble...they had so much fun playing with each other. I don't know that Sallie wanted to leave when it came time. I think it is even crazier how much the girls all look alike.
