Christmas Blessings...

What little blessings we have!!! We were so blessed this holiday season, but we don't want to forget the reason for the season.

The funniest thing about this picture, is I think Carter really thought he got pullups instead of Transformers...so funny!

Santa brought the kids bikes, Carter and the girls were so excited. He brought Molly a shopping cart, and I think everyone else has pushed it around more than her.

Christmas Eve

We had my parents, sister and her kids over on Christmas Eve morning for breakfast and ROUND 3 of Christmas. Again, our kids are so blessed.

This is a normal setting for my kids once my dad gets here or anywhere for that matter...they love Papa Webb

My kids and Kaeli and McKenzie (I can't believe how old they are getting)

My parents got my kids a trampoline, and they LOVED it. They can't wait until it gets setup so they can jump on it.

We spent Christmas Eve night at my cousin's house with my dad's side of the family. It was a lot of fun, and my kids always love seeing all their cousins. There were probably around 50 people there, and that it not everyone.

Many Christmas Blessings...Day 1

There are WAY too many pictures and kids to share all the pictures from Christmas on the blog, but wanted to share something. We were all way too blessed this season. The kids did such a great job of being grateful for what they got, and everyone seemed to know exactly what they needed or wanted (Chris and I had a hard time with K & B, but no one else seemed to).

Here is ROUND 1: with Papa Flynt at Amber's. The kids did so good waiting to open each gift until everyone had one to open. There are 9 kids, and next year there will be 10...what a blessing.

Molly was so good at opening gifts, I forget how much 1 year olds enjoy Christmas and presents

ROUND 2: Nana Flynt's house. Again, we posed the kids together, and then they again waiting patiently until each person got a gift once again. The grandkids draw names for each other here, so it is a little different. And of course Nana Flynt knew exactly what each Grandkid wanted...

Day 1 went off without a hitch, and the kids had such a great time with their cousins!

Show stealer...

This little one stole the show during the cake portion of the girl's party. She didn't even eat cake like this at her party. So cute.

We had Molly's 15 mth checkup on Friday as well. Here are her stats:
21lbs 11.8ozs (25%)
31" (75%)

She is a very healthy little girl, and makes us smile everyday!!!

The BIG 3!!!!

Kennedy and Bailey turned 3 on the 22nd. I can't believe that they are already 3, and in the past week or so they have really grown up in looks anyways. They are rotten, sweet, and funny all in one, and definitely each have their own personality.

We had their 3 year checkups on Friday after their party Thursday night, and here are their stats:
Kennedy: 28lbs (50%), 37" (75%)
Bailey: 31lbs (75%), 36 1/4" (50%)

Aren't they adorable...

Bailey is definitely our shy one...

But sure does love some cake...

Thanks to all of our friends and family that came out to celebrate them, especially in such a busy time of year. We are very blessed with all of you.

Pre-K Program

Carter's PreK class did a little Christmas singing before Christmas break. He did such a good job, and was so excited that Chris and I got to come and watch him.

The Lights...

We took a trip to Silver Dollar City to look at the lights a few weeks ago. Our friends the Hands and my dad went with us to play and of course see the lighting of the tree.

All the big kids in front of the tree before lighting...

This little girl was so excited that Papa came along for the ride. I am not sure the last time that my dad went to SDC but we were thinking when I was in Jr. High. I think he had a good time, and Molly didn't want to do anything else but hang out with Papa.

Tried to capture everyone...

Carter was so sweet to ride with Bailey, don't they look like twins?

She was so brave all day to ride the rides

RUN, RUN, RUN

Chris ran another 1/2 marathon the first of December, and our friend Ryan ran it with him. They ran a full marathon a couple of years ago, and seem to be good running partners for each other. I think Chris was pleased with his finished time, right at 2 hrs, since it has been a while since he has ran one. Good job boys!!!! Crissy and I are so proud!!

At finish line...

At entrance of outdoor track at the UofA...

We all came out to support him...

The kids had their own races against each other as we were waiting on the boys to get to the track

Merry-Go-Round...

We went to fastlane this past weekend with Chris's mom and sisters and their families. And this pretty much sums up what Molly did the whole time. Of all the games, and fun things to look at she wanted to ride the Merry-Go-Round the whole time. Actually all of my girls did. Look how sweet she is, and so big.

New adventure...

My sweet husband sent me flowers last week. You ask why, well I have decided to go back to work fulltime. I know shocked, right!!! This job just kind of fell into my lap, and was a good opportunity for us to be able to get some things done around the house. So, for now, I am back to working fulltime. We have found some amazing people to watch the girls, and bring Carter home from school, so it just kind of confirmed that I am doing the right thing. Not sure that it will last forever, but for now it is a great job with great people. And the girls love having all these new people to play with each day.

Back to the flowers, he sent me tulips on my first day. I love tulips...they were so perfect and unexpected. They were bright and colorful and made my dark office come to life. Thanks dear!!

If you think about it, pray for us as we start this whole new territory with me working fulltime and still managing the home.

Soccer...

We had our first experience with soccer recently. Carter wanted to give it a try, so we did. I think he liked it, but I can honestly say that it was not my favorite but all that matters is he had a good time. His teammates would sometimes show up and sometimes not, but Carter was always there. He made some goals, and played hard everytime...even in the freezing weather. Not sure we will do it again, but I guess we will have to wait until next fall to find out.

Can you imagine the speed? Ha

Saddles and Tiaras...

We had a great time this year going to some families houses and then to our church for the annual Fall Fest. And all I have to say is my kids love CANDY, especially Bailey. She wanted to hold every piece and not put it in her bag.

Tinkerbell, Cowboy Dan, Princess Tia, and last but not least Snow White. We certainly had some royalty among us.

Of course you have to go visit Nana and Papa Webb, they always have the best candy

And then you certainly can't forget Aunt Lavon, Aunt Debbie and Aunt Lucy...

And of course Raymond too....My kids LOVE these guys. We love that they love our kids as well.

BEST RACE EVER!!!!

Most of you know that since working for Rubbermaid I became some what of a NASCAR fan. So, for 9 years, I have been to a race at least once a year, and a couple of years 2 in a year. Needless to say, I have became a much bigger fan. My friend Renae and I have made it a goal of ours to go to one together at least once a year. So, this year we went to Martinsville, VA this past weekend. I flew into Charlotte where Renae lives, we hung out and just relaxed on Saturday and then ALL DAY SUNDAY we spent in the pit/garage area of the Martinsville track. It was by far the BEST RACE I have been too, and like I said I have been to A LOT. I will explain more why with the pictures below.

Here we are on the track...love this girl and the fact that we share these funtimes, not everyone gets it

This is ONE of the BIGGEST reasons the day was such a success and one of the BEST. Carl Edwards is my favorite driver and I have tried for 6 LONG years to get a picture with him or even an autograph. AND THIS YEAR it finally happened for both Renae and I. If you can't tell I am VERY excited. And to make it even better we were the only ones he took a picture with.

We have been on many pit/garage tours, but this year got the HOT pass, meaning we had behind the scenes access for the entire race and could even watch the race from there. It also meant that we got to go to Victory Lane. We have never gotten to do that before, so YAH another thing marked off our list. And although Carl didn't win, it was still fun to see the excitement and Tony Stewart get out of the car.

This was our view for the entire race...we stood from 9:15 - 6:15, but all of it was totally worth it. We stood in Carl's pit box the entire time, watching his team get him a great finish. Again, another reason why this was a great race.

Here is to making next year even better, if that is even possible. HA

Annual Hayride and Cookout

We had our annual Sunday School class hayride and cookout at our teachers farm. Carter LOVES going out there and fishing at Mr. Jeff's. It was such a great night for it, the weather was perfect, and I think as always all the kids had a great time.

Check out Kennedy's face...she is rotten

Brynnlee, McKenna, and Kennedy watching all the others fish

Look at his face...he really does love to fish

And this sweet thing, how can you resist to kiss that face. She had a rough night while we were there for a little bit with a tummy ache, but after about 30 mins she was back to her happy self.
