Very special lunch date...

I don't say it enough, but I love having Candy and her family closer to us!  I know we don't always get to see each other, but when we do, I LOVE each and every second of it!  Yesterday, we were able to meet just her and me with our 2 youngest...Wyatt and Molly are 4 months apart, and are destined to be friends.  I love being able to raise kids at the same time!  I know I need to get better about getting together with her more often, but the times we are together I truly cherish!  Even though we don't see each other all the time, we do talk EVERY day!  There is rarely a day that goes by where we don't talk, even when she was in Jamaica we talked!  That is true friendship there my friends!

Here are sweet Wyatt & Molly...at the end of lunch, they gave each other the sweetest hug!
I sure do love this picture!!!
Thanks Candy and Wyatt for meeting us for lunch, we had a great time!  I truly cherish the time that I have with you, and can't wait until we get to hang out again next!

Molly & Mommy Day...

Molly and I got to spend the day together today just doing fun stuff.  I was off for my "last" summer friday from work, and the big kids were in school.  So, it was just me and the little one.  We started out our day spending some time at the kids school, and then running a few errands in Gravette before heading to Bentonville.  The main goal today...pedicure for both of us!  I have done one of these with Kennedy & Bailey, but not Molly.  After we went shopping at a few places, we went to get our nails done.  Molly did GREAT, and if I didn't hear, "Mom, do you like my nails" once I heard it a thousand times.  She seriously loved it!  She sat very still, and really let the lady do both her toes and her nails.  She was however, very concerned with why I had water that my feet were in.  Ha!

We had the BEST time!  I don't normally get to do fun stuff like this with just Molly, so today was a treat for me, and I think for Molly as well.

 Look how relaxed she is...

Check out her pattern...she was very excited about it!
We also had a very special lunch date...that to come tomorrow!

How we shop...

Tonight after gymnastics me and the girls went to Walmart to do one of our monthly shopping trips...and I got smart.  We stopped at CFA before, got food..they started eating as soon as I started shopping, and then by the time I was finished and at the bakery counter they had eaten their food, so they got the free cookie!  The cookie lasted them until I was finished checking out!  Perfect if you ask me.  It was a VERY stressfree shopping experience.  No fighting, no yelling, just eating and shopping!  Considering I only shop twice a month for groceries, I had A LOT to get.  Thanks girls for being such SUPERSTAR shoppers for me tonight!

On another note, Molly got to do gymnastics tonight for the first time...she did great, pics to come later!

Silly Molly and her new friend...

My friend Brooke sent me these pics of Molly and Colt today...aren't they adorable.  Molly is loving all her time with Ms Brooke and Colt, and then his brothers when they get home from school.  We are so blessed with great friends for us and our kids!!!
I love that they are both wearing monkey shirts and plaid today!!!

Square dancing preview...

Tonight I had the priviledge of taking Paige and Carter to their last square dancing practice for the clothesline fair happening this weekend.  They actually did this for the first time last year, and had such a good time.  If you don't know anything about the Clothesline Fair, it happens in Prairie Grove and Square Dancing is a BIG deal at the fair.  They have probably 75+ teams ranging from 4-18...and the older ones actually compete.  None the less, it is a big deal, and Carter and Paige get to be a part of it.

This is Carter and Paige waiting to be called out...and practicing their turns...
I love how sweet they look...
And this is what the girls did while we were waiting for them to get done practicing.  Kennedy especially was loving watching all the dancing going on.
After practice we headed to eat, where Chris met up with us.  I am sure everyone was thinking we were crazy considering it looked like we had 2 sets of twins or even better a set of twins and another set of triplets...we definitely got lots of looks.  Love cousin/family time...and am so excited Carter and Paige get to do this together!

Games, A Big Mouse, Tacos, and a Movie...

So, for my kids birthdays Papa & Nana Webb gave them a day out for Chuck E Cheese's, lunch and a movie.  Finally, there was a movie for them to see (that we hadn't already taken them to), so Saturday was the day.  Instead of having my dad have to endure all of that FUN by himself, I offered to go with him.  FUN is definitely what we had.  My dad had never been to Chuck E Cheese before, and I think he enjoyed it!

Start of our day...they were SO excited!

Kennedy got my dad to "ride the roller coaster" with her...he actually liked it...
then these 2 had to give it a try...
Mr. Bug Man had a great time too...
There was a birthday party going on, so Chuck E Cheese actually made an appearance...lucky for them, they got their picture with him
After lunch we headed to eat and then the movies to see Monsters University...it was really cute
And after a fun filled day out and about with Papa these kids were POOPED!!!  I couldn't see Kennedy over the seat to get her in either one...

Thanks Papa & Nana for making my kids Saturday so fun!!!!!  They had such a good time!

Looks can be deceiving...

So, a couple of months ago when Chris was hauling in dirt for our garden he hit a hole in our yard with the tractor.  He went back to observe the hole, and didn't think anything about it.  Then, on Sunday this past weekend he was moving and decided to measure it and see how deep it was...well I am happy/sad/creeped out/scared to say it was 9' deep at the deepest spot, 5' everywhere else.  Can you believe it?  It really does creep me out, as I could fall in that hole and you would never know...don't even want to think about my kids.  YUCK!!!

Anyway, we have NO idea what it could be from!  We do know that it was more than likely there when they built the house, as there was a dirty, torn up shirt in the hole.  Regardless, I told him there was no way that hole was staying in our yard!  He HAS to fill it in with something.  He on the other hand wants to "investigate" what is under there...ha, and then he even mentioned building a tunnel to the kids playground. Um no way...do you remember a couple weeks ago we found a snake in our house.  Who knows how many can be found in there if we do that.
So, now that I have officially freaked MOST of you out, you can know that he is filling it in this weekend.  WOW, not quick enough!  And I am sure you don't think it looks very big or deep, but let me tell you it is a pretty big hole..just take my word on it!

Living the life...

Last Saturday was a very low key day for our family!!!  We were all tired from Carter's party the night before, so we didn't want to do much.  After we took Carter's friends home Saturday morning, Carter wanted to come back and put his legos together.  Apparently everyone knows him all to well, as most of his friends got him legos...superhero ones, and they didn't even ask me.  And let me tell you he put EVERY one of them together by himself.  He is so much like Chris when it comes to that.  I love that he enjoys stuff like that!  So, while I cleaned our house, he built all of these...

 all his legos finished...
And then you have the girls who went with Chris to Walmart, Lowe's and the feed store.  And yes, Carter and I were invited but he didn't want to go because of his legos.  Boys and their toys.  So, Chris sends me this picture of the girls.  The funniest thing is they are all doing the same thing without even being asked to.  Hilarious!
Just a day in the lift of Flynts...

Nothing to it...

Who am I to worry that this girl will not adjust to her new schedule, or even more not like being without her sisters.  Well, I was definitely wrong, she is loving every bit of it!  She gets to play with new friends at Mrs. Brooke's house (Colt), and she gets Chris and I all to herself when she is going to school.  I am loving this time with just her.  This little girl just melts my heart, I love the conversations that she has, and the things she says at 2!

This morning Chris took her to school and here she is just chilling!

Love her face here...just riding!
I am so glad that she has adjusted well, and likes to do her own thing, apparently there really is nothing to it!

A Professor...Say What?

So, this week is not only big for the kids but it is a BIG week for Mr. Chris Flynt too!  This is the week he starts teaching a class at NWACC...Woohoo!  Chris one day wants to be a professor fulltime, and this is giving him a dose of it to see if this is truly what he wants to do.  He will be teaching every Wed night in the class Payroll & Accounting...doesn't this just scream Take Me?  Ha.

No really, I am so excited for him and the fact that he gets to do this.  I think that it says a lot about him, and the connections he has made in our community for a lady that works there to ask him to teach the class.  He was supposed to do a class in the summer, but not enough people were signed up so it was cancelled.  Well, he will have 22 pupils there tonight to learn all they can from now until Dec about Payroll & Accounting.

So, in honor of his BIG day, I asked him to send me a selfie...I should have known better!  Enjoy!

Good Luck Chris, I am so proud of you and excited for you!

Carter turns 7!!!!

This sweet boy of ours turns 7 today!!!!  I honestly can't believe I can say that I have a 7 year old.  It is so crazy!  We love him so much!  I love his sweet sweet heart and spirit.  He loves to learn, read, help me fold laundry, and play in the dirt and just be a BOY!!!  He is so much like his dad it is unbelievable.  He amazes me everyday and we are so lucky to have him as our son!  So, sweet Carter, Happy 7th Birthday!

Just a look back at him over the years...
See he even loved helping me with laundry at 18 mths...

New Adventures...

Today marked some big and new adventures for all of my kids, and I think they were all very excited about them.  I love watching my kids go through new things, and today was no exception...as hard as some of them might have been.

Carter started 1st grade today...can you believe it 1st grade!  He is so big, and loves school so much!  Can't wait to see what he learns this year.  Kennedy & Bailey started PreK at Gravette with Carter.  There are a couple of nice things about this...Carter is right down the hall from both girls, and both of the girls teachers are so good (Kennedy has Carter's old teacher).

And we can't forgot the little one...she started a new adventure today too!  She is now staying with my friend from church.  She hasn't been away from the girls ever!!!  Even at MDO last year she was across the hall from them, got dropped off and picked up with them.  So, this is definitely something new for her too.  Chris said she cried right when he dropped her off but after that she did fine.

Here is Carter and his teacher Mrs. Knoedl...pardon the fact that I didn't have her move her hair before the picture...ha

Kennedy and Mrs. Hunter
 Bailey and Mrs. Sumter
I am so proud of my kids for doing so well today!  I can't wait to see what they learn this year!

Carter's 7th Birthday Party...

Our sweet Carter had his 7th Birthday Party on Friday night.  He was VERY opinionated about this party from people invited (all boys), the food, and especially the cake.  I can't believe that he is getting so big, and I am about to have a 7 year old and more importantly a 1st grader...

We picked up some of his friends from school before the party, and from the time they go Nana Flynt's house they were crazy boys...then more crazy boys joined them...and they all had a great time!

After the pool party Carter had a few boys from school come over and stay the night.  The girls got to stay at Nana's house so that they could truly have a boys night.  They had such a good time, and the saddest part of the sleepover was this was the only picture I had of them.  When I came in they all had their shirts off, I call them the No Shirt Boys Club...
I love all my kids, and I especially love being a boy mom for things like this...they had some very funny conversations in the car.  Sure was fun having these boys stay the night and be able to come to his party.  We are so blessed by all Carter's friends that came to help celebrate his birthday!
