Today was the annual Gravette Day parade. I remember Gravette Day as that one day that symbolized school was about to begin, I got to see all my friends that I hadn't seen all summer, and just hung out in the park all day. Although Gravette Day has been extended from 1 day to 3, I don't feel like kids stay and hang out as we used to in the old days. None the less, I drag my cheerleaders and my kids to the parade to see who has turned up to celebrate our wonderful town. I sure do love our small town, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
These are my 17 (2 are missing) children throughout the year. They are sometimes a little crazy, but they hold a special place in my heart.
And of course my girls wanted to sit on the hay as well...
Happy Gravette Day 2013!
