Shaving Cream Fun...

Kennedy and Bailey are SO very different.  I know I say that A LOT, but it is so true.  They are especially different when they are at school...Kennedy isn't SHY at all, and then there is Bailey who won't even sing in music, but knows EVERY word.

Their teacher sent me these pictures the other day, and I just thought it was funny...

Look how much she has EVERYWHERE!!!

And then there is Bailey...
We love them both for their VERY different personalities.

Everything is bigger in TEXAS...

Here are just a few pics from our girls weekend in Dallas this past weekend.  It was A LOT of fun.  These ladies are some great ladies, and I think we all learn something more about each other everytime we are around the group...and we are around each other A LOT.  Our friend Nicole was there on the trip as well, but got sick, so she had to spend the whole weekend in the hotel...it was so sad, but at least she was able to sleep and get well and not infect her family.  There are definitely more pics, as we took pictures all the time.  It was like we were HS girls with all the pics, so I will have to share more later, but for today here you go..

We went to Billy Bobs Texas the first night.  It was a lot of fun, got to do some line dancing, and listen to Bart Crow Band play....

Eating at Joe T Garcias...yummo, especially the tortillas

After shopping all day and we still look great...love these ladies

Thanks to our husbands who endured the kids all weekend so we could get a weekend away.  It was a lot of fun, and I thank God daily for these amazing ladies in my life.

Safari...

The girls got to go to the safari Thursday with their preschool.  And the best part was Chris got to go with them, and to top it off he got to be a driver for 3 other kids....he was having a PARTY I am sure.  He is such a great day to take them, and they were so excited that dad was taking them.  Thanks to Chris for taking off of his busy time to go with girls.

Real Housewives...

If you are looking for me this weekend, I will be in Dallas, with a great group of ladies.  We have been getting together for over a year now on Monday nights to watch the Bachelor (let the judging begin). It is a night where we just eat, talk, and watch the Bachelor or anything else that we want to.  We decided to take a trip to Sean Lowe's hometown, little did we know he was going to still be in LA at Dancing with the Stars...none the less we are planning the trip and are going to have a great time.  Thanks to all of our husbands for letting us get out of town for the weekend....more pics to come.

Prayer Request....

I am doing another post today to ask for prayer for a sweet family who lost one of their own today.  Our friends the Wolffe Family lost Chad today during a routine knee scope surgery.  They are a young couple with 4 young kids.  Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Sweet Magan!!!

This is a post all about our sweet Magan!  She started watching the girls for us at the beginning of January, and they love her.  She is a senior in HS, and does a GREAT job for us.  I can't say enough how much we are blessed to have her helping us by hanging out with our girls and Carter.  Thanks Magan for taking such good care of our kids....

Their FIRST Crush...

Ok, so if you know my girls they LOVE our babysitter Magan.  She is awesome, and one of the sweetest girls I know.  More about her tomorrow...Now on to her boyfriend...

Her boyfriend, Boaz, is in the Marines, and came home a weeks or so ago for a visit.  And when I say my girls couldn't wait for him to get here it is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!  Mind you, they have never met or talked to him before, but have seen SEVERAL pics of him on Magan's phone.  So, he came home, and my kids got to see him when Magan would pick up Molly from school, etc.  I am pretty sure Kennedy said I love Boaz multiple times each day the entire time he was home.  (I know I have NO hope with her...she is going to be boy crazy like her mom was at that age).

Again, let me just point out that Boaz is one of the nicest guys out there, so sweet to Magan, and to my girls.  He didn't know them from Adam as Magan was not our babysitter when he was here last.  None the less, he let them climb all over him constantly.

He left to go back out in field on Tuesday morning, but wanted to come visit the kids and say bye before he left...again so sweet.  So, Monday night he came over to visit, so here we documented it...can you see how happy the girls are.  Molly was posing too, but just sitting down by Carter.

Thanks Boaz for being such a gentleman to my kids and of course to Magan.

Boys weekend....

While the girls had their FUN times this past weekend, the boys had some fun of their own.  One of Chris's sisters lives in Dallas, and her youngest was turning 1 and had a party this weekend so they went down for that.  The headed out on Friday with Nana Flynt, and were later joined by his other sister and her kids.  Needless to say, they had a FULL house but had a lot of fun.  I am glad that they got to have this "boy" trip, Carter loved having this time and of course getting to play with Brady and Holt all weekend.

This is the only picture I got from Chris all weekend.  I am sure he has more, but of course he hasn't shared them.  They went to the park a few times, got to watch Holt play Tball and then played ball outside literally the whole weekend I think.
Thanks Ashley and Russ for letting my 2 boys invade your house for the weekend, they had a great time!

Me and My Girls!!!!

This past weekend was a GIRLS weekend at my house.  It was SO much fun just hanging with the girls.  We don't do this near enough, and we did miss our boys, but it was definitely a special time for me and the girls.

Friday night we had a picnic on sleeping bags, and watched the new Barbie movie.

On Saturday the PTO (I am the Treasurer) at Carter's school painted and updated several things on the playground.  So, off we went to the school.  We pulled up and the girls saw the playground and were SO excited.  They played and played and of course helped paint.  It was an awesome morning outside, and no restrictions of things they couldn't play on so they were in heaven.  Here are just a few things that I helped paint...

After naps we went to SAMs where they sampled EVERYTHING in the store that was available...they loved every minute of it.

Then we came home had dinner popcorn and marshmellows of course and watched Tangled

Me and my girls....we had such a great time.  Tomorrow I will share what the boys did all weekend.

One CRAZY girl!!!!

Let me just start by saying, this girl is one crazy one.  However, she is my best friend and I love her!  I want to take a day and highlight the girl that I have only known for about 19 years but feel like I have known her my whole life.  She is my sister from another mother kind of girl!

She had the FLU this past week, let me repeat the FLU and yet she still got up on Saturday morning and ran a MUD race!!!  All because she had already paid the money and heaven forbid she lose that money.  HA!!!  I like to give her a hard time and she knows it.  The funniest part is that she asked me a few weeks back to run this with her, and all I could do was laugh at her.  Because if you know ME, I am NOT a RUNNER!!!  I mean I can't understand how people do it, and I have NO desire to do it myself.  I love watching Chris run his half/full marathons, but I have ZERO desire to do one myself.  I know I keep highlighting that, but it is true.

None the less, congrats Candy on your run, and the fact that your team finished 3rd!!!  You rock, and someone I look up to for your running, but I won't do it myself.  HAHAHAHA.

Candy is the one on the left, and quite honestly I have NO idea who the other girls are.  Sorry!

Happy Birthday Chris!!!!

Ok, so I know this picture is a little old (Christmas time) but still a classic picture of my husband.  A little back story:  Chris was in charge of our white elephant gifts at our class Christmas Party this year.  Well, he decided to make a sweater, wear it to the party, and then give it as the gift.  The hope is that it continues to show up at Christmas parties in the future.

Anyway, today I am honoring THIS Man!  He has a very special day today, and although, he is in Texas spending the weekend with his sisters, mom, Carter and brother in law, me and the girls are thinking of him.

Hope you have a great birthday Chris!!!!  We love you!

All about THIS Guy.....

In honor of Chris's birthday this week, I have decided to do both posts about him...This guy had been working SO MUCH these past few months with Tax Season, and I am glad that it has come and gone and our lives can get back to a little but more normal.  If anything, if he gets to sleep more than he has the past few weeks then that is a BIG WIN!!!

I don't know how he does it, but he is one amazing guy!  He works HARD everyday, runs a VERY successful business that he owns, and still manages to make time for all of us at home.  God has given me an amazing man, and one that I pray and thank Him for everyday.

Back in March we attended the KISS A PIG event in town.  My company is a big supporter of this event, and so we were able to go and enjoy some tunes from REO Speedwagon!!!  If you know me at all you know I LOVE 80s music, so this was right up my alley.  Although, the "old" men in REO Speedwagon were a little creepy to watch on stage flirting with all the young girls, they were still amazing!  We had a lot of fun.  The best part was after the event I dropped Chris off at the movies with his 2 sisters and his mom and another girl.  They didn't have any cash, so Chris comes up to the window (in a suit) with all this cash, to buy their movie (credit machines were down) and then is there with all 4 ladies.  It is like he was their pimp!!!  Priceless picture I am sure!

Love this guy....

Sweet & Rotten...

These 2 little girls are so sweet and rotten at the same time.  They are 3 days apart, weighed exactly the same at time of birth and last well check, and the other day when we did their height at Nana's they were the same!!  It is like having twins from 2 different mothers.

A month or so ago it was nice on a Sunday afternoon so we decided to go to the park and hike, play, etc.  These 2 were just walking hold hands, running, etc.  I hope that they grow up being the best of friends!  We love us some Molly & Paisley!

Just a little glimpse...

This video will just show you a little glimpse as to how rotten our little Molly thinks she is.  She is hilarious and knows it.  I just love her little giggle here.

One more sweet pic of my girls yesterday with Emma Kate...just melts my heart

What we would do without them....

I have some great friends that help me out daily either by calls, emails or texts.  I am not sure what I would do without them.  And now I love that my kids have their special little friends.  I hope that they continue to make new ones, but also cherish the friendships that they have with their current ones.  If you know me at all, you know I love people and hanging out, and just being the "host."

A couple weeks ago Carter had his friend Drew over to play.  Sorry you can't see their faces, but this is how they spent most of their day.  They had the DS and Kindle going, technology....Carter loves playing with Drew, and they are so much a like it is funny!!!  And the whole time that he was there, Kennedy wanted to be a part of it...this is so me...she will be that annoying little sister for Carter who wants to come in and play when he has friends there.

Today my typical babysitter had something going on, so the girls got to go hang out with Drew's little sister Emma Kate.  They were so excited when I told them they were going over there.  And again, I am so grateful for my friends who watch my kids for me even if it is late notice.  They are having a great time, I can tell by all the pics that my friend Lauren is sending me. Thanks Lauren, you rock!!!

My life is truly blessed because of the friends and family that I have, I hope yours is too.

All About Carter

Carter lost his first tooth at school the other day.  The only bad part was he swallowed it.  :(  He was eating lunch, pushed on it and swallowed.  Poor guy lost his first tooth and didn't even have anything to show for it except the hole in his mouth.

That time of year has started once again.  Carter is loving Tball as always, and let me tell you it is more fun to watch each and every year.  Brady gets to play with him too, and let me tell you one thing for a 4 year old Brady can hit it!!!  Carter plays pitcher this year, and so far is doing a great job.

Stand up and CALL THOSE HOGS!!!

This past Saturday was our annual NIGHT OUT with the Addingtons.  Not that we don't go out with them other than this weekend, but this one is a set thing every year either in March or April.  They take us out to eat at Doe's and to a Hog Baseball game.  We have such a good time with this, and this year was no exception!  We played LSU, and kicked their tail.  We have great seats, multiple times I thought about jumping up on the dugout with Ribby and dancing....hahahaha!  I mean I still remember how to dance to the fight song, and especially how to CALL THOSE HOGS!!!!  Thanks Amber and Dane for taking us out, we had a blast.

Spring Break - Part 2

Another perk of going to Mena is not only seeing my family, but seeing one of my good friends Tiffany.  I met her when I started going to Mena for 2 weeks every summer around 4th grade.  I remember watching Babysitters Club, playing Babysitters Club, and reading Babysitters Club....do you see a pattern here.  No really we had some great times, and I looked forward to seeing her every chance I could.  We have been in each others weddings, had kids around same time, and now get to get our kids together to play while we catch up.  I love this time with her, and hopefully my kids will find a lifelong friend in Mena like I did!!!

All the kids except Molly....imagine that she was being stubborn

Tiffany & me, not sure when we had a picture together last, but love that we got one this time.

Spring Break - Part 1

We didn't do a lot over Spring Break, but we did decide to make another trip to Mena to hang with the family.  We did this last year, and my kids LOVE it!  Chris has to work over Spring Break since its prime TAX time, so I take my dad and the kids and off we go for a long weekend.  Although it rained everyday, it was still so much fun hanging out down there.  I grew up staying weeks at a time (more on that tomorrow) and I want my kids to do the same.  And all of my friends who went to the Beach or Disney World...MENA, AR is totally the same.  :)

My cousin Edd decided to make some pies the first night we were there, and Kennedy was such a big help with the lattice for the Apple Pie.  He was great to let her be involved!

My cousin Shane's sister-in-law came up to visit too, so there were a few more kids in the house at nights, but they all had a great time!  The only ones who didn't want in the pic was Daryan and Seth...can't imagine why.

Bailey has surgery...

Last Thursday Bailey had tubes put in.  She was a ROCKSTAR!!!!  Everything went really smoothly, and we are hoping that this will help eliminate the fluid that she seems to constantly have on her ears.

Student of the Month

Carter was chosen at school as Student of the Month for April.  My cheerleaders just happened to be over there that day doing a mini pep rally to kick off testing.  So, he was so excited to get his picture taken with them.  We are so proud of Carter, and I love how much he loves being at school.  Congrats Carter, we are SO proud!!!

Water Fight....

Last night we went up to our friends the Roughley's house to let Carter "work" on their yard with Ryan.  And we ended up getting 7 soaked little kids.  They thought it would be fun to dump water all over each other.  And when I say dump I mean DUMP...they were dripping wet!  But they had the BEST time, I love that Crissy and I just went with it, and at one point Carter even dumped his bucket on Crissy and if you could have seen his face when he did it...priceless!  Anyway, these kids have a great time together when they play, especially if it involves water.

Something new....

I have been HORRIBLE about updating the blog, and I have friends and family that look to this as a way to keep up with my kids.  So, my goal is to post something once a day!  It may be some random picture but it will be something.  So, here we go...day 1!!!

Easter 2013!  Saturday was a great day, Easter Egg Hunt with our Sunday School class (90 people there) and then dinner that night with Nana Flynt and the Addingtons.  Then when we got home was when the real fun began!  Kennedy came down with the stomach bug and started puking that night.  So, needless to say, this is the only picture of all the kids at Easter this year.  They had so much fun, and please take a look at the face on Molly, and know that 2 secs before this she was throwing a FIT!!!  Crazy child.  Enjoy!
