Cheer Kick-off Party

I decided to have a cheer kick-off party this year. They started out with a scavenger hunt in town, and ended with a cookout at my house. I think they had a good time, it was very interesting to see what all they did for the scavenger hunt. It was also a great time to learn more about each person.

Even the kids got to participate. Carter got to build a train track with several of them, and the girls got to sit in the circle with them when they played psychiatrist. It was a fun game that we played several rounds of.

Here's the group...13 girls, 2 boys, and 1 boy was missing

They really are a crazy group of kids

5 mths

Last Friday, Kennedy and Bailey celebrated their 5 month birthday...I can't believe that it has been that long, and what they are doing. They are both such happy babies, and we thank God everyday for that. As you can see from the pictures below they really do love their brother, even though sometimes he can be a little mean to them. I guess he is just preparing them for the rest of their lives.

They are both rolling all over, talking like crazy, eating cereal, holding their heads up very well when on their stomachs, and sitting very well in their bumbos. I know there are more things that they are doing, but that is all I can think of right now.

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to Branson again for Memorial Day weekend, like we have done for the past 3 years. It was a great time that we had with several of our friends. We really didn't do much, just hung out and ate, shopped, and played. It rained most of the time, but the place we were staying had an indoor pool, so we got to take Carter swimming. He is a little fish, and loves being in the water. This picture is a rare one, as he didn't want us touching him at all. I can't wait until swimming lessons for him, and then for him to swim at Nana's pool.

This was a Mom, Dad and Carter trip, we left the girls at Nana Flynt's house. They had a lot of attention from Amber and her kids, and Ashley and her family, well and of course Nana. They did so well, and I think Carter enjoyed having mom and dad time. Thanks to all who helped take care of the girls.

I also wanted to say again Happy Anniversary to my loving husband. We celebrated 7 yrs on Monday the 25th. We have had some great memories along the way, and are looking forward to many more. I am so blessed to have Chris in my life, and am so grateful for the loving husband and father that he is.

Where's Kennedy?

Since the girls have been rolling over, you can't put them down and expect them to be in that same spot when you get back. This is how we have found Kennedy sometimes when we come back in the room. Carter already does not like it when they "play" with his toys...I think we have a long road in front of us.

Texas and Trains

We took our first road trip since Carter was potty trained and since we had the girls to Texas to see Chris's sister and her family. It was not a bad trip at all, the kids were great and we had a great time hanging out with the Lightners.

Carter got to ride a real life train, I think he absolutely loved it. He was so excited the whole time we were on there. I am glad that we could be with him when he experienced it.

Toes and Cereal...

Last week I decided to start trying cereal with the girls. Overall, they did well considering it was their first time. There are times that one does better than the other, but that will probably be the rest of their lives.

They also both found their toes last week, although, I only have a picture of Bailey finding hers. It is so cute to see them grab them as soon as I lay them down.

Happy Mother's Day

Here are me and the kids before church, I had such a good mother's day. It's amazing how they are almost all looking at the camera.

Megan's Party

My good friend Megan is getting married in June, and on Saturday night they had a Bachelorette Party for her. We had a lot of fun, and it was great catching up on some college memories.

Andreas came to visit

Our friends Gardner, Leah and their kids came to meet the girls. They were moving right as the girls came, so they did not get to meet them then. It was great to have them over and spend some time catching up. Their girls are getting so big.

Here are Gardner and Leah with all the kids, except Carter, he just would not get in the picture

Carter Loves his Sisters

Although Carter is sometimes a little too rough with the girls, he truly does love them. He always talks to them, reads to them, and trys to play with them as you can see. It is so cute to see how they look at him, and I can't wait until they get even bigger, and are even more interested in what he is doing and saying.

Can you feel the love?
