Terrible Twos Times Two...

Well, the girls are officially 2 today! What a great Christmas present God blessed us with 2 yrs ago today. I remember the anticipation of waiting to go into surgery, and the amazing feeling I felt when the doctors took out each one at 12:21 PM (Kennedy) and 12:22 PM (Bailey) on this very day. Our lives have never been the same since.

Last weekend we had their birthday party with family and a few friends. It was a great Minnie Mouse affair...this place in Noel, MO made the cake and I think they did an amazing job.

My friend Shelly made their shirts, she even had the Disney font, they were perfect.

Getting practice for Christmas morning...

The girls friends Ella and Cole got the girls these aprons, so adorable and I hope we get some good use out of them very soon

Anxiously awaiting the Happy Birthday song

I never got a picture of just them together because of course they would not sit still, but here is one at the end of the night with Nana Flynt

Thanks to all our friends and family that came, ate dinner and cake with us, and brought all the wonderful gifts...the girls are very grateful and lucky to have people like you in their lives.

Kids on Ice

Who needs Disney on Ice when you can have the Flynts and Roughleys on ice. Last week we went with some friends to ice skate in Bentonville. This was a first for the kids, and the first in a long time for Chris. It was a lot of fun I think for Carter and Lydia, and it was great because they had these handy handrails that the little ones could push around. The girls didn't get skates, but got to walk around since it wasn't very busy.

Carter's Class Party

Carter's class had their Christmas party yesterday afternoon. It was a lot of fun for the kids, the focused on the store of the Candy Cane. They started out making reindeer with candy canes, then we read the story.

Carter and his friend Anna

After the story and snacks they played Bingo, it was so fun

A little Christmas cheer

Right before we left for PDO yesterday the girls wanted to take some pictures with Molly. My girls look so adorable...

My friend Lisa got Molly this when she was born, Chris thinks that it is crazy, but I loved her in it.

Gingerbread house

The other night we decided to decorate a gingerbread house. I don't remember ever decorating a gingerbread house ever, but I might of and just don't remember. Anyways, I bought one the other day and while Chris was a meeting the other night, the kids decorated one. I think they had a lot of fun, and even Nana Flynt came over to enjoy it with them.

This was the final look...

Carter was very good at decorating it, he did this door and was very proud of it. Such the perfectionist...I have no idea where he gets it

I think this was the only piece of candy Bailey put on the house...she thought she needed to eat the candy not decorate with it. I guess everyone has their own idea of fun

Cookie and Ornament Decorating Playgroup

We have a great group of moms that get together once a month for playgroup. We try to do something different each month, and this month being its Christmas time we decided to do an ornament and cookie decorating playdate. Since there are several of us, we decided to rent the Centerton Community Center to hold all 13 moms and 31 children that came (and that is not everyone). It was a good time, very well organized and planned by my friend Luissa. I think they all like what they came away with, especially the cookies.

Here is the group...there may be a few kids missing, but come on with 31 this is a good picture.

Kennedy loves to color...

Not sure what is wrong with Carter here, he definitely cheered up as the day went a long. He is sitting with his good friend Lydia.

Stickers and hampers

Poor Molly has no hope right now, just wait until she is mobile she will get them back. Kennedy likes to decorate her with stickers.

This is what the girls do while I am trying to fold laundry and put it back in the basket.

Molly's Photoshoot

Well, time sure has flown by, and I know I say that all the time. But when you know this is your last it seems to go much faster. Molly is 3 mths old and one of the sweetest little people I know. She is so happy all the time, unless you try to stretch her feeding time, and already loves watching her bother and sisters. They entertain her everyday already, and are constantly loving on her. She smiles all the time, and has not started "talking" to everyone. She especially loves her daddy. We are so blessed with all of our children, and I thank God for them even on those days they make you want to pull your hair out.

Loving having her picture made...

Sweet Evie Grace Harrison

On Saturday I found out that my friends Jonathan and Alicia Harrison lost one of their 20 mth old twin daughters Evie Grace. I can't even imagine what I would go through if I lost any of my kids. Preliminary autopsy shows she had menigitis, and died in her sleep. If you think about it, please say a quick prayer for my friend and his family, and especially their little girl Ramsey, who lost her best friend. Evie's funeral is on Monday (tomorrow), and I know it will be a hard day for all those involved. I wish I was able to be in Memphis to show my love and support to them.

A little of everyone

Just some randome pictures of all the kids...

Molly's stats from her 2 mth appt:
13.7ozs (95%)
24" (95%)
She did great, and is growing like a champ if you can't tell.

Look how strong she is...

Sill girls

Loves the toy so much she fell asleep...this was while the other kids were running around her screaming

They love the toy too

She was so tired after her first Turkey day she fell asleep on dad right before bed

Future Mr. GHS

Last Sunday, Carter was asked to be an escort for the Mr. and Miss GHS pageant at Gravette High School. The goal behind this was for contestants to get a future Mr. or Miss little kid between 4-7. It was so cute, and although Carter's contestant did not win, he did a great job escorting her out. Not sure Chris will ever let him be in a pageant, but he did a great job for now.

Isn't he adorable...I was so proud of him
