T-Ball has come to an end...

Yesterday Carter completed his last T-Ball game!  It was bittersweet...he loves it so much, but we know that he will have so much fun next year when he moves up.  His All Star team wasn't the best out there, but they do have some really good players, and when some of those kids are playing in the All Star game when they turn 6 they will be a force to be reckon with.  I was so proud of Carter and his team!  Carter had some good plays during these past few weekends.  Chris moved him to 2nd base, and I think that is where he has played the best all year!

We are so proud of him!

I can't believe we got everyone to look and smile at the camera...it doesn't normally happen!!!!  Love my family and I love that we get so spend this time together!!

Outside and loving it...

While I was out of town last week, Chris with the help of the kids washed my car.  I love that they love to be outside...they can think Chris for that he is definitely the outside one.  Not that I don't like it, I just prefer to be inside.  Ha.

I like that he thought to put them in their swimsuits to wash the car...normally that is not the case.

Then once washing the car was done...a little popcorn and movie before bed.

People constantly ask, how does Chris do it when you are out of town?  The answer is simple he does amazing!!!  I love that I never have to worry about them while I am gone.  He has always been so good with hanging with all 4 by himself...love him so much!

Sprinklers...

These two were loving the sprinklers last week while it was so hot outside.  I remember being little and running through a sprinkler at our house...love that my kids enjoy those same things.  I bet they got wetter than the grass. :)

Random...

We have had a crazy few weeks, lets face it our lives are crazy....but what would we do without them being that way.  I am sure we would be BORED!!!  None the less, the next few days will show a few things from our busy lives.

A couple of weeks ago when I was up decorating for the Barn Dance Chris took kids for donuts, farmers market, and then to visit me at the Barn.  Chris captured this sweet pic of Kennedy...I love it.  Other than the fact that the seat belt looks like it is about to cut off her neck!  Ha!

Have a great day!!!

Chuck E Cheese...

This past weekend the girls go to go to one of their friends Reece's Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese...they haven't been there in a long time, and they loved it!!!  They rode all kids of toys, played games, and had pizza and cupcakes.  Best day ever for them probably.

Training them early...this was a roller coaster ride!!!

Little Fish...

We are very fortunate to have several people around us with pools.  Of course Nana Flynt has one and then the Roughleys just put one in this summer.  Lucky for us, they are both VERY close to us, especially the Roughleys.  So, while they were out of town this past weekend we got permission of course to swim in their pool.

This little girl surprises me every time we get in the pool....she is such a little fish, and will swim for literally hours.  I totally didn't think she would be that way, but she loves it.

I love this pic...they were the only ones in the pool and were haivng the best time...conversations...etc.  I love that they have each other.

All Star...

This past weekend we had All Star District Tournament.  Let me just preference we are not rock stars, but it is so fun to see Carter play with his friends and have a great time doing it.  It was hot, and late on some games, but still a lot of fun.  We played pool games on Friday and Saturday, and then tournament started on Sunday (lost in first game).  I missed his Sunday game, but I heard he did awesome!

Here is his team, minus his friend James...

And of course Kennedy wanted in the picture.

Carter and his friend Merrick, he actually came home with us after to stay the night...Carter had the best time.

This little guy is 4, but does such a good job on the All Star team.  He was on our regular season team, and was great as a 4 year old.  And funny thing is, I went to school with his parents, but then they rented Chris and I's first house when we decided to move to KY.  Love the small world...

Pierce, Merrick and Carter...good buds...

The kids with Papa Flynt and Donna...thanks for coming!

Just some Molly pics...

Carter has been in All Star Tball games this weekend, and it all started Friday night.  The kids played all day Friday, went to library, park, home for about 30 mins and then the game.  Needless to say, Molly was so very tired!  This was Molly on the way to Carter's game on Friday night.  Hilarious...

So tired!!!

Then this was her at the game...so sweet and happy!
Love this girl!!

Summer, swimming and friends...

This week the kids were able to swim with several of their friends...and thankfully Drew was there for Carter to swim with.  I have mentioned this before, but Carter loves hanging out and playing with Drew.  Here they are taking a little break...

Funny story about Drew...last Sunday they were walking back to the nursery with us from church, and Kennedy kept trying to hold Drew's hand. He kept pulling away...poor Drew he has no hope with Kennedy.

Candy's Special Days...

Well, this lady is one special lady to me.  We met during the summer between HS graduation and Freshman year at the UofA.  We have pretty much been inseparable ever since.  She is my sista from another mother.  The funny thing about Candy that we always laugh about is when she first met me she tried to set me up with EVERYONE she knew...she is so funny!  I sure do love this lady, and although we don't see each other a TON, we talk constantly, and I look forward to our calls every day!!!  Not sure what I would do without her in my life, I am blessed because I have her.

Today and tomorrow are VERY special days for her.  Today is her birthday and tomorrow is her 10 year wedding anniversary...So, in honor of TBT (throw back Thurs), and I bringing out a picture of us 10 years ago tomorrow!!  I love this picture!

So, happy birthday today Candy, and happy anniversary tomorrow!  I am so lucky to have you in my life!!!  Thanks for all the memories these past 15 years, can't wait to see what the next 15 holds.

Barn Dance Continued...

As I mentioned yesterday, I am giving you more of a look into the Barn Dance today.  While I was up at the Horses for Healing Barn decorating on Sat., the kids came to visit and see REAL horses.  Ha.

They are hilarious...they wanted to ride on the saddles, they were so funny!

they got to pet a few horses...

Mr. Leroy gave them a ride on this... (check out Molly's face...she is rotten)

And then they went home...

We had some friends of ours go to the event with us...The Galyeans, and the Hands.  we had such a good time, and I think they did as well.  Thanks you both for coming, it means a lot to me that you took part in such an amazing event.

And because you know I like my celebrities....this is a local celebrity and of course I had to get my picture taken with him.  Coach Ken Hatfield is a legendary coach of the Razorbacks and a BIG supporter of Horses for Healing. He was our Honorary Cowboy for the night.  He was such a big help in cleaning and setting up, and let me tell you he is a funny guy.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this event SO wonderful...I appreciate everyone that make this a great event and I look forward to next year.

Just a glimpse....

I wanted just to tease you a little with the Barn Dance.  We had SUCH a great turnout, and it was a GREAT event, and I will go into it more later.  I did want to share of picture of me and my man!!!  One of only two times I have been in a pair of boots in my life.

Thanks Chris for volunteering out there, and then getting me involved...it was such a touching experience on so many levels.

More to come...

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to all of the dads out there, especially the ones that are near and dear to me and my family.

This guy is one AWESOME dad!!  These kids love him so much, and seeing him as a father makes me love him more than I thought was possible.  I love seeing his relationship grow with the kids everyday!  They are SO lucky to have him as their dad, and I am so grateful God chose him to be mine and to have this sweet family with.

Today, I also want to mention the 2 other dads that are very special to me!  My dad, he truly is one amazing man!  He taught me so much, and I am so grateful that he is not only a BIG part of my life, but a part of my kids lives as well.  I couldn't ask for a better dad...Dad I love you!

And, last but not least David!  We love you so much, and are so lucky to have you as a part of our lives as well.  I know that if I called you up today and needed something you would drop whatever it was to help me!  You have always treated me as one of your own, and for that I am forever grateful!  I love you and am glad that you gave me the man of my dreams!

Today is the day!!!!

Today is the DAY!!!  After months of planning and meeting the day is finally here!  The Barn Dance will be held tonight, it is a SOLD OUT event and I can't wait to see how it goes.  I am so excited to be supporting such a GREAT cause, and celebrating with those who helped make this dance possible.  I am the chair, but my committee has done a fantastic job of doing their part!!  There is no way this could be done alone, and I am grateful for those who have helped.

I will have to give you an update next week on how it goes, and maybe even share my Butt Sketch...yep that's what I said!  Apparently it has been a big hit for years, can't wait to see it!

I am definitely ready to kick up my heels and celebrate for Horses for Healing!  Thanks for the amazing opportunity to work with these wonderful people and for this cause.

Going Public...

I was fortunate enough to be in NY yesterday when our company went public.  It may not seem like  a big thing to most people, but it was a BIG thing for our company.  They have been talking about this since I started and even before that, so to see if come true was crazy.  And probably the best part was being in NY when it happened.  Coty ran the bell yesterday to open the stock exchange, and they had these bottles of fragrance outside the exchange.  In case you don't know, we not only do cosmetics, but was actually founded as a fragrance company first.  I just think this is a really cool picture of the bottles.

We all got a paddle like what would be used on the floor of the exchange.
I know its not about the kids, but this is where I spend EVERY day, so I thought it would be cool to share a milestone about the company I work for.

Summer Nights...

On Sunday night we had the Roughleys and the Bartmiers (minus Nick) over for dinner.  It was so fun!  We were able to be outside the whole time, the weather was perfect.  The kids had a blast, and were running around everywhere...by the way there were 5 adults and 11 kids...totally outnumbered.  Still had a great time!

Sarah and Chris were roped into a little tball game with Carter and Kaeden...I am pretty sure the boys could have played all night.

Some of the girls sat here and watched the game and cheered them on.

Not the best picture, but so cute!!!  Lydia was giving the girls cheerleading moves to do.  I love it!

Sweet Nana Flynt!!!

Sweet Nana Flynt had a birthday yesterday!  She was enjoying herself at the beach, so we didn't get to see her, but we still want to wish her the BEST birthday every!   We are so lucky to have this lady in our lives, and am amazed every day with the woman that she is.  What an example to look up to, and our kids LOVE her so much (well and so do we of course!)

Hope that you had a wonderful birthday, and please know we are thinking of you and missing you!

Carter and Nana at his championship game...

Her and the girls at their end of year program...and poor Molly I couldn't find one with her in my file.  Oh well, she loves her too and we have some cute ones of them.

Happy Birthday (yesterday) Nana!  We love you!!!

Growing Vegetables...

We decided this year we were going to do a garden, and the kids are SO excited!!!  I think they expect it things to grow quicker than they actually will, but oh well.  It has been fun doing this together...they each got to pick out a veggie and as you can see from below, they are lending all their hands/feet, etc in helping Chris spread dirt!!!

Can you find the girls?

Yesterday the girls and I made a quick trip to Old Navy, and of course they had to take a picture here before we left...silly girls.  Poor Molly you can barely see her.

We had a visitor...

On Friday I took kids to lunch and when we came home we (the kids) found this little guy at our side garage door waiting for us.  And yes instead of finding something to fill it with, I took a picture...aren't you so proud!!!  I would have been so freaked out, but the kids are the one that saw it first at the door, I was still getting stuff out of the car.  They are so brave...sometimes more than I want them to be.

We are the CHAMPIONS!!!!

I am so proud of this Decatur State Bank Naturals team.  They are pretty young (more 4 year olds than most), but they are such a good little team.  And this is the team after 3 years in this 6 and under leaque that brought home the championship.  Carter has several friends that he plays against, and they all did so great throughout the season, it was so fun to watch.

The Naturals really showed up for the championship game, they all had really good hits, even the little boy who ran to the pitchers mound after he hit every time all through the year scored...it was a great night.

Congrats team!!!  Job well done...this team will be a hard one to beat seems how they are only losing 2 kids for next year...

Coach and Carter...I am so excited that he gets to go out on top...next year he moves up.  By the way, this little boy scored a GRAND SLAM at the game...he almost did it twice!  He has improved so much in hitting, and really understanding the game even more this year.  I am so proud of him!

I love that these 4 got to do this together....

My sweet boy!!!

Paige played after our game in her championship game, and after a controvery...yes in tball, she came in 2nd.  Good job Paige, she is a fast little girl and see her continuing to be such a good player.

And of course these 3 needed a picture with Brady!!!
What great memories we are making!!!!
