So, Chris has started a little "side" business...butchering cows!!! I know you are thinking what? Well, he decided a couple months ago to get a couple of cows, put them out on his dad's land and then butcher them. His goal was to get 3 other families to go in on half of each cow. Well, he has successfully sold 5 halves...yep you read that right...5. Needless to say we need another cow. :)
At least once a week Chris and sometimes the kids go out and check on cows and feed them (his dad does it the rest of the time). This week, we made it a family affair...FUN!!! No really, it was hilarious to see the girls out there. Carter is totally going to be our little cow boy, and of course Kennedy just wants to climb on the stuff...gymnist I know!
Ribeye is on the left (not sure if this is the right one but I think so), T-Bone is on the right, and then his dad bought one...Pepper
I am so not a farmer, but the meat sure will be good when it's butchered. :)
Doesn't this post just make you want to bust out some Green Acres is the place for me...Farm living is the life for me. Ha I love it!!!
