Thankful...

Today I am thankful for Carter's school.  There was a shooting in Gravette today about 2 blocks from Carter's school.  Therefore, they put all the schools on lockdown to ensure safety.  Carter had no idea that anything other than a "drill" was occurring.  I love that they were able to keep kids calm and oblivious to what was going on.  

I am also thankful for my friend that works right down the hall from Carter's classroom, and got Carter and kept him for me.  I love that if anything happens at the school, I am able to reach anyone in a seconds notice to get my kids, rather family or friends, there is someone always there to quickly give me an update to where Carter is.  Although, it may not always be the most convenient location for our kids and schooling, it is comforting to know that I have a lot of people there loving on Carter, and next year the girls too.
