And she's off....

Well, Bailey is finally crawling, and no of course I don't have a picture yet. Who would have thought it would take a little dog from Texas to get her motivated? She has been so close for a few weeks, but I guess on Friday night she decided to make it official. Chris's sister's dog (Trixie) is visiting Nana while they went on vacation and Bailey loves her. It was so funny to see her get so excited with her on Thursday night, and Chris said she tried to get to her all night on Friday. She is so much happier now that she can get to places she wants to go. Although, she is not near as fast as Kennedy yet, she is more content. She started pulling up a few weeks ago as well, so now all she does is crawl to wherever and then stand. They are so big.

Bailey has been picking up food for a while, but would never get the little puffs to her mouth. Well, I gave her a biter biscuit the other day, and she had not problem getting it to her mouth and she LOVED it. She actually cried when it was all gone.

The kids loving the train table...

So sweet, Carter actually shared his trains with them
We also had their 9 mth checkups this past week as well. Here are their stats:
Kennedy:
15 lbs 3 ozs (5%)
27 3/4" (50%)
*And of course she had another double ear infection :(
Bailey:
18 lbs 9 ozs (50%)
27 1/4" (50%)
Overall they got a great report, and we just have to follow up on both of their ear infections to make sure they are gone when their antibiotics are done.

Woo Pig Sooie!!

Last weekend Amber and Dane bought the Razorback game, so we headed over there for some good food and fun.

Carter calling the Hogs

Paige would not let me take her picture in her uniform. She was so adorable, but would not look at me.

Kennedy didn't know what to think of the hat, and yes those are Christmas pjs but we didn't have anything else to put on her for bed.

Bailey on the other hand loved it!

Trying to get Carter and Paige to look...no luck

Pool and Surprise Birthday Party

Last weekend, my cousins Lou and Mike had everyone over to their new pool to have a surprise birthday party for Lou's dad (Uncle Jerry). He turned 75 back in August, but they waited until the pool was done to throw him a party. He was totally surprised!! It was a great time, and although a little chilly it was still a great time.

What a handsome man

Look at that pretty smile

Kennedy practicing her hog call!

Standing, Sleeping, and Smiling

Just a few pictures of the girls. They are doing great, and still growing like crazy.

This is pretty much what Kennedy does all day...she loves to stand up and climb on things, she is my child :)

This is how we found her the other morning, so funny...

Not such a good picture of me, but a sweet one of Bailey

They are both holding their own bottles now...Kennedy was a little bit before Bailey, but now they are both rock stars. This helps out a lot, except for the times they don't stay on their pillows

Go Cards Go!!!

For Chris's birthday present (back in April), I bought him some Cardinals tickets. So, last weekend we headed to St. Louis for a little mini vacation and to watch a great game. I had thought it would be fun to go with both his sisters and their husbands, so off we all went. We have all never been anywhere with just us, so it was a lot of fun. We didn't do much, but there was a lot of laughing and just hanging out. We did get to go to Grant's Farm on Sat., and then the game on Sat. night. The weather was perfect, the game was awesome, and we definitely had good company. All of us had left our kids here with either grandparents or friends. We are so blessed to have people watch over our kids while we are gone. Thanks to all those who helped make this trip possible. We love you all!!!

Outside the new stadium...it was so nice

Russ was thinking really hard about what he wanted for dinner

And these are the lovely husbands trying to imitate the statue that was on the way to Union Station...it was so funny. I only wish you could have seen them do this in real life.

Gravette Pride Night

Well with football season right around the corner, Gravette had their annual Pride Night. It is a time where you get to see all the players, cheerleaders, and band before the season starts. My girls did their Home Pom that they took to camp and won with. They did great, and Carter loved it. He was very much the entertainment for my girls before they night started. He was running and flipping all over the field. It is so fun to see him interact with my cheerleaders, and they all love him.

My squad, yes those are not our school colors, but the dance was a "We Rock" theme

Carter as the entertainment....

If you look at #77, this is my cousin Brennon...he is a sophomore this year. I can't believe that he is actually that old. It was weird enough him seeing him in the high school this year, now I get to see him play on Friday nights...I'm so excited. I never got a picture of him looking forward...sorry.

PreK Birthday Party and Checkup

I know its late, but I guess almost 2 weeks ago I got to take cupcakes up to Carter's class. He got to wear a birthday crown and pass out napkins to his friends for their cupcakes.

Passing out napkins to his friends...he kept saying this is my job, he loved it

His teacher Mrs. Jarvis giving him his hat
Last Thursday we had his 3 yr check up, and he did so good. He didn't have to have any shots, but he did get the flu mist. He was 31lbs and 37 1/4" long, 50% in both. He has never been the 50% in weigh, so I was very excited. I guess he does eat ALL the time though, so what should I expect. He also had an ear infection in his right ear. He has not had one in 2 yrs., so I was very sad that he had one. Actually all of our kids had ear infections last week. Yep, Bailey got looked at while we were there and she had one as well. And Kennedy had been given medicine the week before. It's so sad, I never would have known about any of them had their noses not been so nasty and would not dry up. You would think they were contagious....
