8 years of Wedded Bliss....

Yesterday was mine and Chris's 8 yr wedding anniversary. I can't believe how fast time has seem to go, especially since we figured out yesterday that I have been pregnant for probably 4 of those 8 years. :) It was a great day, and the only picture I got was the one below of us with Carter at his program.

We were able to go out to dinner at PF Changs, and then went to Barnes & Noble. It was a great night, and thanks to Papa Webb who was able to watch the kids for us.

I am so blessed to be married to Chris, and thankful for how hard he works for us so that I can stay home and do what I love.

The Fruit of the Spirit

Yesterday was Carter's end of the year program at school. It focused on The Fruit of the Spirit. He did such a great job, especially compared to doing nothing at his Thanksgiving program. He actually sang, did motions, and repeated the memory verse that they memorized. He is getting so big, and I was one proud momma yesterday (as was his dad and Nana Flynt as well).

This was him when he first got on stage, he is standing next to one of his good friends Xander.

Singing and doing motions to one of the songs

Getting his certificate for completing PreK 3 from Mrs. Jarvis...she is such a sweet lady, and we were blessed to have her as Carter's teacher.

Look how big he smiled for us

The one class picture I could get of everyone

Thanks Nana for taking time out of your busy day to come to the program...Carter loved it.

2 very proud parents...

It's a Jungle Outside...Gym that is...

So, while I was at graduation last weekend, Chris with the help of our dads and Dane, built a playset for the kids. We have been talking about doing this since Carter was born, and we finally did it. It is awesome, Chris did such a good job, and most importantly the kids LOVE it. Thanks to everyone that helped...including Nana Flynt who rescued Carter from allergies. He was supposed to "help" build the playset, but his eyes started swelling, so off we had to send him so he wouldn't be sad he couldn't help outside. But with a little claritin he seems to be doing better.

Hard at work....or so I think.

They look very interested in what Chris is saying...

Carter and Kennedy going up the rock wall (she is so fast and not scared at all)

Look at that little face, rotten...

Bailey about to start her test run up the wall

The finished product...we love it.

Bittersweet...

Last Saturday 5 of my cheerleaders graduated from Gravette. This is bittersweet for me, they are a great group of girls and actually the girls that I started coaching with when they were in 10th grade. Now they have graduated, and are all going separate ways. I will miss them a TON not only in cheerleading, but getting to see their smiling faces everytime I am at the school. They each mean something different to me, and I am very blessed to have gotten to know them.

By the way, in case you didn't know or haven't seen me, I am about 25 wks pregnant. :) We are due in September. Just a little side note... :)

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day Weekend. On Friday, we went to dinner and walked about the square in Bentonville for First Friday. It was a great time with just my family. Then on Saturday I was able to get a massage (gift from last Mother's Day), and then lunch with my good friend Jessica. Then we got to have dinner with Chris's mom and Granny, it was great to see her and spend some time with her. The kids (esp Carter and Paige) loved her. And then on Sunday woke up and had our normal Sunday morning. After church we went to lunch and then home for naps. It was pretty uneventful, but a great day. I am so blessed with my family, and I thank God daily for them.

I love Carter's face and how his hands are crossed here, such a cheeser....

The saddest part of my day....my best friend Candy who lives in NC went into labor. Her water broke in the morning, and off they went to the hospital. It was very surreal. When she had Kohen I was there, and this time it was just weird to have to have to keep calling her for updates. Everything went well, and at 2:00AM (EST) on May 10th she gave birth to Wyatt Kyle Johnson. He weighed 8lbs 6ozs and still not sure on length. He was a week early, but as you see very healthy. I so wish I would have been there for you Candy...maybe next time.

Who's turn is it to drive?

I am sure that will be the main question when it comes time for them to drive. They both love this little car so much. Everytime we walk outside to go somewhere, this is the first place they go. Carter loved it to...thanks to Aunt Lavon for giving it to us back when Carter was little. It is providing some good times for everyone.

She is the driver for the moment...

I love this picture because Bailey has one hand on the wheel and her arm on the window...I think she has been watching her dad too much

They are both trying to drive....I think Bailey was squeezing her way in. Are you seeing a theme with pictures and Bailey...wide open mouth!!!

Kennedy reverted to riding in the back :) I guess it is good to be little.

I am hoping Carter never has to pull/push them out of any ditch...but I am sure at some point he will be pushing the car

Wild Hair

Just wanted to share the girls crazy hair...Chris was in charge of baths this night and he thought it was funny. I can't believe how long their hair is getting.

This is a normal day hair style for Kennedy...you would think she sleeps on her head. She is just now starting to let me put a ponytail and bow in it. We will see how long it lasts.

This is actually pretty long for Bailey...she gets more and more each day. You can't really see the top very well, but she is.
