Bring on the fish...

The past 2 weekends Chris has taken the 3 older kids to Fishing Derbys. They were so excited, especially Carter. First up was Centerton, and although it was packed, each kids caught 2-3 fish. Success if you ask me. Second up was Decatur, and although they didn't catch but 1 fish, they got some good prizes that made up for it.

These are from Centerton...

Crazy trip to SDC

In the midst of t-ball tournament we had already scheduled a trip to SDC with some of our good friends the Boyers. So, we decided to still parttake in some of the fun of the getaway weekend. Chris probably didn't think it was fun driving back and forth on Thursday, but it was still fun to get to hang with them for a little bit.

On Thursday we went to Silver Dollar City, and although HOT it was so fun... (I love K's hand on her hip)

Carter and Ella

The girls on the carousel, K really did like it once it started going

Molly showing off her 1 and only tooth!!! She did so great the whole day

The girls on the steps before bedtime...bungee cords are a great toy (or "leash" for your puppy)

And of course we swam on Friday...this was Molly's first swim and she liked it

And then she wanted a nap...

Not #1 but still a CHAMPION to us!!!

Carter finished up his first year of Tball on Saturday night in the Championship game. Although we finished up 2nd, they still did an amazing job this year. Chris was the coach, and considering this was his first year coaching, and not knowing any of the kids he did a GREAT job. We were consistently the 2nd place team, only losing to one other team all season. All in all I think it was very successful, and Carter had a great time which is all that matters.

Look how proud he is...

Our team, minus one little guy

The 1st and 2nd place teams

Our friend Dustin and his wife Jennifer coached the 1st place team, and their son Braeson played on it. It was hard for Carter and Braeson to play against each other at some times, but they did great not taking it easy on each other. Look how serious Braeson it...

Thanks to all our friends and family that came out to some of Carter's games. He loved having you all there and we really appreciated it.

Golden Anniversary

My Aunt Lavon and Uncle Jerry celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. It is so amazing to see such a loving couple being celebrated by their friends and family. Aunt Lavon is my dad's only sister, and is the 2nd oldest of 8 (my dad was 7th). She has always had a huge impact in my life and my dad's, and now my children. It was wonderful to celebrate them, and their many years of happiness. I can't even imagine 50 years, but am so looking forward to it...only 41 more to go!!! We are looking forward to many more memories being made with them, and for my children to see the great example they are setting for all of us.

Snakes, Tornados, and Swimming

If you know Nana Flynt you know how much she LOVES snakes...so when this snake was taking up home in a vent outside she didn't like it very much. Chris finally got it out and then Carter and him got rid of it, but not before Carter took some time to see if it was dead. :)

May has been one to remember for many reasons, but probably most importantly was because of the many tornados we have experienced. This particular night was the night right after one went through Joplin and no one was taking it lightly. We all loaded up and headed to Nana's of course. Our friends the Wingards came over as well. This was about 11:00 PM, and of course after we had gotten several of them asleep. Oh well, better safe than sorry. Thank goodness the biggest of the storms missed us, but at least we were in good company

First swim of the season came over Memorial Day, and Paige was the first one in (she is so her father). It was still cold, but the kids loved it.

Graduate of Lifeway PreK 4

I knew I was behind but just not how far until I pulled up the pictures on my camera...sorry for the delay. About 2 or 3 weeks ago Carter had his End of the Year program at Lifeway. He did such a great job, and I can't believe he is done at Lifeway. Although, he is not starting Kindergarten next year he is going to Gravette instead of Lifeway. We had such a good experience at Lifeway and will miss our friends, but he is excited to start at Gravette.

Here they are about to start singing...He and Paige did so good.

I love this picture mostly because of the boy next to Carter, he was so excited to get his "diploma"

Carter and his teacher Mrs. Updike

and I actually got one with them too...yah!!

Look at me...

Molly has been crawling for a month or so now, and she is getting more and more harder to contain in one room. I love that she finds her brother and sisters, and then I find them all playing together. Such funtimes!!!

She was playing peekaboo with me while trying to crawl...so funny

Who will win the stare down?

Just a sweet little picture
