Rain could not damper our little guy from enjoying his birthday party. After weeks of no rain and temperatures over 100, we thought a pool party would be the best option for Carter. Little did we know it would come a big storm!!! But Carter still had a great time at his party we think, and even got to swim at the end...
Our friend Jessica made this cake, I thought she did a good job with a VERY particular kid that we had making the decision...
Since it was raining we moved the party into the carport at Nana Flynt's house. And this is what the kids proceeded to do, I mean they don't care that they were getting wet, it was supposed to be a pool party after all.
Our sweet 5 year old...well in a few days anyways

Dora the Explorer!
Dora the Explorer came to Bentonville today to the library and then tomorrow for Bentonville's First Friday on the Square. So a few of us decided to grab some lunch and then head to see Dora. I was not real sure how the girls would do with her, since they HATE mascots of any kind. I was pleasantly surprised, they would not get in the picture but they stood right next to me not screaming while I took the picture. When we arrived at the library they were on #30 and we were #99, but only a short 45 mins later we were taking our picture...I know crazy, but the kids loved it.
Jones, Ella, Cole, Carter, Dora, and Miles in front...
We thought this was all we were gonna get at first, at least you can see her hair, and that fact that the girls were there.

Can we say HOT!!!!
Last weekend we went to Branson with our friends the Roughleys, and can we just say it was HOT!!! But don't think the heat stopped us, we went to Silver Dollar City, swam at the pool at our place and then White Water...you can tell there was a lot of water involved. We had a great time, and are so blessed to have friends like them, and of course that our kids love each other.

This is how Hutch and Molly roll....

We got some free tickets to White Water Night Swim, so we decided to venture out there on Saturday night. It has been YEARS since I have been to White Water, but I dream about it every year when we drive past it on the strip in Branson. The kids all did great, and I think it enticed the grown ups to make a trip up there next summer just us so we can do all the rides. I do have to point out that Crissy and I did the HUGE slide that you slide down, and minus the HUGE wedgy that I got it was awesome!!!

Naturals Box Seats
Last week Chris's mom got a box at the Naturals game from one of her customers, so she decided to invite her family to enjoy it. It was so much fun, and refreshing since it had air conditioning. The kids love it, there was a ton of food, fun and of course we loved the family that we had there to enjoy the evening with. Thanks Nana!!!!

New favorite thing...
Molly has really started getting into everything, and probably her newest favorite thing is the drawers in the kitchen. She pulls everything out about 50 times a day, and thinks it funny everytime. Oh and she has also started pulling all the girls PJs out of their drawer in their bedroom, that one is a little bit more annoying, but oh well it just takes a minute to pick everything up.
What? Am I doing something wrong?
You mean keep this drawer closed?
I think I will try this one?!?!

HOT Summer Days!
We get the priviledge to hang out with Brady almost every Wednesday during the summer to give him a little change of scenery from his normal days, and sometimes we even get Paige too. It has been so much fun to see the kids play, I think Brady really likes having his own time with Carter, Kennedy and Bailey. And what surprises me is that even when Carter is not here, he has so much fun with just the girls. I love that we are getting this opportunity to hang out with him.
Can't remember what they were doing here, but thought it was cute.
Chris was helping our friend Ryan build a treehouse, so we all went up for dinner and playtime at the Roughleys while the boys worked. They got a tire swing as well, and I think the girls liked it.
They have some donkeys, horses, etc that live down from them, so we went for a walk to see the animals. We are really enjoying having them live so close to us, I think Carter is the most excited!!!

Family, Food, Fun and Fireworks!
We had a great 4th of July weekend starting with Brady's birthday party and ending with my dad's family annual Road Rally (which Uncle David, Chris and I won). We are so blessed with both sides of our families, we love to get together play games, swim, and most importantly just spend time with each other. Truly blessed is all I can say!
All of our little firecrackers... (its hard to get all them with a good facial expression)
She HATES bows...
Carter has really became a little fish recently. He swam for about 4 hours on the 4th, thanks to Debbie, Nick and Lou who became raisins with him. By the end of the day he was jumping off the rock in the deep end, and even more crazy with out floaties.
