Spring Break

One of my childhood friends from Mena, Tiffany, had a new baby about a month ago. So, on Spring break I decided to take my kids and dad to Mena to see my family and also meet her newest Jenna. The kids had a lot of fun with her, especially Molly, she couldn't stop laughing. She was so sweet, and such a good baby.

For those of you that know my family know that we love playing games. I was so excited to be down there because we played cards or dominoes constantly. It was Friday afternoon and we are all sitting around playing cards...it doesn't get any better than that. We had such a good time, thanks Melissa and Shane and families for taking us in for the weekend.

I LOVE the 80s

If you know me at all you know that I LOVE the 80s. Some might say...Chris...that my cousins tortured me into listening to all the great hairbands of the 80s, I say they taught me the best music ever. My company got tickets to the Kiss A Pig event this year, and the theme was I LOVE the 80s, and it was awesome! 80s music all night is my kind of night, and even better is Bret Michaels was the entertainment for the evening. My favorite song of all times is "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," and yes he sang it. I was up front like a little school girl with some of my friends from work, and have some great pictures and video of him, but they are all on Chris's phone.

Nightly Fun...

Here is a little look at our crazy kids during the nighttime hours. We have fun thats for sure. Glad the weather is improving, we have now moved out playing outside.

Not sure what they were doing, but they lined up the chairs and were having the best conversations. Love these kids...

T-BALL has already begun...

I came home from work a week or so again to find Carter dressed and ready for his t-ball tryouts. Little did he know that because his dad is his coach he didn't have to tryout. He is so excited, he talks about it everyday, thank goodness they are starting soon. I am so excited to see how he does this year. They are starting practice this week and their first game is at the end of March. And in another year, we might have 2 other little ones doing a little softball...man where does the time go.

L-I-O-N-S

We have been spending a lot of time at the basketball gym lately, and the kids have been loving it. They LOVE my cheerleaders and going to the games. It is amazing how much has changed since last year when Molly was not quite 1 yet. Even she is loving the games, and of course they love the popcorn, candy, and all the attention they get from everyone.

My friend Crissy made these pants for the big girls for their birthday, and they got a ton of compliments everytime they wore them. They are so adorable, and no Molly is not picking her nose.


I am so excited for this picture. This is one of my senior cheerleaders, Makalyn. I actually went to school with her brother, and when I was a senior and she was 6 I think I had a picture with her. I was going to try and find it before I posted it, but it is in a tub of pictures and who am I kidding I don't have time to go through that. Ha!!! I will find it before she graduates.


This is my group of SENIORS this year, minus 1. They are a great group of kids, and will be missed next year. The guy on the right is LEO the LION and does such a great job, I have no idea how I will replace him. I can't wait to see what these guys/girls accomplish in their future.

Molly's First Haircut....

I know its a little late, but we have been a little busy. Molly finally got to the point where her hair was OUT OF CONTROL. So, off to our friend Crissy's to get it under control. She did so good just sitting on me while Crissy worked her magic. I didn't get an ending picture, but at least I caught the actual cutting.

It really happened...

Sorry there are no pictures for this post (you will thank me later), but Molly has done some VERY funny/disgusting things the past few days.

On Sunday, Chris went to get Molly after she woke up from nap, because I had Bailey asleep on me. Little did I know what a blessing that was...when he walked in Molly had taken off her diaper and of course had pooped and therefore there was a pile of POOP on her bed. Luckily, it had just happened so it wasn't on the walls or more importantly in her mouth. YUCK!!! Again, thanks to my husband for cleaning her up and her bed.

Now onto this morning (Tuesday). I had left to take Carter to school, when Chris text me and said that Molly had stuck her hand in her diaper and pulled out POOP!! I mean really, what is up with this girl and her POOP (sorry to keep saying that word...but need to stress the craziness). Luckily, again Chris caught her before she ate it or did something else with it. Again, YUCK!!!!

Thanks again to my husband who had to encounter both of those episodes, and I can honestly say we have never experienced this before and we have 3 other children, it truly is amazing! It is a really good laugh and somedays you just need those laughs.
