10 Wonderful Years and 4 Kids later...

I remember exactly what my wedding day was like, and I am not sure I will ever forget the details of that special day!  May 25th, 2002 at 1:00 I married the most wonderful man.  I can't believe how time has flown by, especially when you add 4 kids in there, but what an amazing 10 years it has been being married to Chris.  We have been through so much in the 10+ years of being together, and I can't wait to see what is to come!  So looking forward to whatever God has in store for us.

This is where I got to spend our 10 year anniversary!!!  Vegas Baby!  It is by far some of the best people watching I have ever done, and people there literally never sleep.  It was such a great trip, relaxing and such a good time.  Thanks Chris for a great 10 years, and looking forward to MANY, MANY more...
We stayed at the Mandalay Bay, which was SO nice, there were multiple pools, a beach and even a lazy river.  Needless to say we spent multiple days doing nothing but laying by the pool.
The fountain show in front of the Belagio was one of my favorite things in Vegas, mainly because it is exactly how you see it in the movies.
We were in Vegas over Mother's Day, so my gift was to go see Cirque De Solei show "O" I thought it was good, I don't know how much Chris enjoyed it, but none the less he went.  Me and my guy after 10 years married.  We are so blessed!
Probably the BEST part of the trip was going to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon on Mother's Day.  It was sad to be away from the kids especially on Mother's Day, but it was truly amazing to see what GOD has created out there.  Here we are at the Hoover Dam!
And the most breath-taking part was seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time.  Truly an amazing experience.  If you ever have the chance to go, GO...Our next goal is to actually hike down and camp at the bottom.
He is truly a DORK, but I sure do love him!

And here are those very special kids that make me who I am today!  They are crazy most of the time, but I don't know what I would do without them.  I have spent half of my married life pregnant, and although they are close, I wouldn't have chosen to do it any other way.  They love each other, and I can't say enough about how BLESSED we are.
We had my cousin and her husband and Nana Flynt stay with the kids while we were away.  This trip would not have been possible without them helping us out.  The kids loved staying with them, and we are very grateful for their sacrifices to keep our kids so we could go on a trip.  THANKS a BUNCH to them!

Carter's Luau

Carter's preschool class had an end of the year Luau.  It is the teacher's way of saying thanks for a great year.  It was an all day event with water games, slip n slides, sand, and pools set up on the play ground.  There was a cookout for students and their parents, and then live music after lunch.  Carter had a great time in Mrs. Hunter's and Mrs. Brown's class this year, and can't wait to start kindergarten.

Carter and his friends are chasing Mrs. Hunter trying to get her wet.

Love this sweet boy, and can't believe that in 2 months from today exactly he will be starting kindergarten.  SO CRAZY!

Playing Catch Up

Sorry for the delay in updating the blog...needless to say we have been busy, and sorry to say that the blog has been what was neglected.  But I am back and really going to try and make an effort to keep up more with the blog.

The girls visited the dentist for the first time a few weeks ago.  They both did GREAT, especially Bailey, which is you know Bailey you know she is not one for people messing around her mouth.  She didn't complain at all, and just sat and watched mickey.
Kennedy did really good too, she is totally going to have my horrible teeth.  I had so many cavities its not even funny.  Poor girl has no hope.  She didn't have one this time, but I just have a feeling.

This is how they roll...they love to ride the mower with Chris!
Look who my handsome dates were for lunch a few weeks back.  I love these 2 little guys, only wish we could see them more.  Oh yeah, and my best friend Candy was there too, but of course I only got pics of the boys.  So grateful that she came up to enjoy some Lenny's with me.  Don't you love that face that Wyatt is doing...such cuties
It was princess night at Chick Fil A one night we had our Sunday School Leadership meeting.  To say it was CRAZY busy is an understatement.  IT WAS NUTS!  But we did get to meet Miss Arkansas USA (who we saw make top 15 in the pageant a couple weeks ago) and Miss Teen USA.  Kennedy looks a little scared, but she just kept staring at them all night, it was so funny.

Week of FIRSTS!!!

Well, I can honestly say that with 4 kids 5 and under we have never had to visit the ER for any reason until this past weekend. Yes, that is right, Bailey broke her clavicle...it happened last Wed night before church with she fell from a booth at church (Molly might have pushed her), however, it wasn't until Sunday that we decided to take her to ER. She never really complained about it until Sunday when she had been using her right arm more and more. She has a very high pain tolerance I guess...she can still move it around without a lot of complaining which is why we didn't think to take her in until then. She has been a trooper, and seems to do ok in the brace. She has to wear it through April....poor thing however she still looks happy.

Carter had his first tball game of the season this past weekend. They ended up losing that game, but are getting better and better each inning they play. Chris has him at pitcher and he is doing a GREAT job of stopping the ball.

Spring Break

One of my childhood friends from Mena, Tiffany, had a new baby about a month ago. So, on Spring break I decided to take my kids and dad to Mena to see my family and also meet her newest Jenna. The kids had a lot of fun with her, especially Molly, she couldn't stop laughing. She was so sweet, and such a good baby.

For those of you that know my family know that we love playing games. I was so excited to be down there because we played cards or dominoes constantly. It was Friday afternoon and we are all sitting around playing cards...it doesn't get any better than that. We had such a good time, thanks Melissa and Shane and families for taking us in for the weekend.

I LOVE the 80s

If you know me at all you know that I LOVE the 80s. Some might say...Chris...that my cousins tortured me into listening to all the great hairbands of the 80s, I say they taught me the best music ever. My company got tickets to the Kiss A Pig event this year, and the theme was I LOVE the 80s, and it was awesome! 80s music all night is my kind of night, and even better is Bret Michaels was the entertainment for the evening. My favorite song of all times is "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," and yes he sang it. I was up front like a little school girl with some of my friends from work, and have some great pictures and video of him, but they are all on Chris's phone.

Here is one of the pictures from the night...these are some of our friends from church, Todd and Jennifer

Nightly Fun...

Here is a little look at our crazy kids during the nighttime hours. We have fun thats for sure. Glad the weather is improving, we have now moved out playing outside.

Not sure what they were doing, but they lined up the chairs and were having the best conversations. Love these kids...

And of course a dogpile on dad is ALWAYS in the nightly routine

And then there is jumpzone...this was Molly's first time that she actually got to enjoy it and she LOVED it!

Here is Carter helping Molly down the slide
