I Am Spoiled...

Yesterday was my very special day, and everyone from this guy to my co-workers made me feel very special...

Started out the morning with a lady bringing me cinnamon rolls from Sweet D's (if you haven't had one from there you should).  Then I had lunch with my boss and VP at Mojitos (cheese dip...yummy), and then finished it off with some strawberry cake from Rick's.  So, as you can tell...I ATE ALL DAY!!!  It was so yummy though, and I would do it all over again!
Then Chris sent me a message telling me his mom was coming over to watch the kids so we could go out to dinner...as if I needed more food.  HA...None the less, we went to dinner and have some amazing food!

Everyone made me feel so special with calls, texts, emails, cards, etc...I have the best friends and family!

Southern Rock Racing...

Well, this weekend I found my new profession...Rock Crawler...

We were invited by some of our friends from SS to go to Hot Springs this weekend for camping and the Souther Rock Racing Finals Event.  We haven't been camping since we lived in Memphis, and oh how I have missed it!  So, off we went on Friday afternoon.  Chris and I were in charge of hauling the "toys," while others hauled their RVs.

Here we are getting gas for our long trip...there will be more stories on gas later on this weekend.  :)

It started raining Sat morning when we left camp, so we got some trash sacks and covered up and off we went.  It was VERY muddy, but I loved every minute of it.
Getting set to watch the first of 3 events...
Here is our group of 18 at the last event. The good thing about this weekend, I knew about half of the people and the other half were new friends that we made.  We were all very similar, and just had a good time hanging out at the event and then by the campfire at night.  Definitely made some new friends from this weekend...
Me and my scary movie girls...this was definitely right up our alley, and I am almost positive I will be cheering on Danielle (left) one day while she does this.  There were 2 girls in the event and they rocked it!
Us girls all had to have a pic...
On Sunday we went and ate downtown Hot Springs at the Pancake House (I definitely recommend it), and then we walked about all the fun shops there.  We stopped of course for some group pics...some of the couples had left to head back, so we missed them but still had fun touring the town.

We did our own version of Rock Crawling..

It was a great weekend with friends and just relaxing...and you ask what my kids did all weekend?  Well, don't feel sorry for them, they stayed with Aunt Debbie and had the best time!  Thanks to Debbie and Joe for having my kids and showing them such a good time!

Can't wait again until next year, or the next Rock Crawling event... :)

And on the carry....

Nick Newbill...

When we went to see Paige perform the other night, we also got to see my cousin Nick play football.  I always laugh because when my cousins Michelle and Preston wanted to name Nick, their one requirement was that is sounded good over the loud speaker at a game.  So, here we have Nick Newbill, and this year they have definitely heard that name over the speaker a lot!  I love that we are able to see my cousins play ball...my kids love going to the game, and last night was the perfect night to be outside!  I want my love for football to go over to my kids...can you tell?

If you are ever at a Gravette Jr. High game, make sure you cheer for #9!

Makes my heart happy....

Last night we went and watched Paige perform at halftime of the Jr. High Football game.  She had been attending a cheer clinic all week with the Jr. High cheerleaders, and in return they go to show their stuff at the game last night.  It makes my heart happy that she was out there...I know you all think I am crazy, but I just love cheer so much.  So many of my favorite times in jr/sr high, and then college came because of cheer.  And the best part she did a GREAT job...she knew her cheers, and was sassy in her dance...exactly what you are supposed to do/be.  I can't wait to see her many more nights on a football field or basketball court doing her cheers...Paige will do great in all the things she plays, but I will definitely be her helper to do well in cheer :), I am sure her mom will love that!!!

Me and the future cheerleader!

Not the best quality of picture, but look at that High V!!!  Impressive!

Did he ever think...

I sometimes wonder what goes through Chris' head with so many women in his life!!!  I mean I don't know how he puts up with all of us, but he does, and always with a smile.  Last night he was headed to Academy to get some stuff for an upcoming camping trip we are going on, so I thought he could pick up the girls some new leotards for gymnastics.  I am sure he is thinking HECK NO, but of course he doesn't say it and then comes home with outfits that the girls are crazy about.

These are the pictures that he sent me to make sure this is what I wanted...we went with the top one!  I can only imagine what we will send him to the store for next, but I am sure he will do it happily.  He is the best dad and husband a girl could ask for, and I know when the girls woke up this morning and saw their new outfits they were so excited!  He made their day!!!

I am sure he never thought he would have to buy this many leotards...heck, I didn't think I would have to buy this many.  :)

Not Even Winter Yet...

Well, it is not even winter, and sickness if floating around school/church already.  When I was in NY a couple weeks ago Molly got the stomach bug, that then ran though a few people in our house.  Then this week, she got high fever and a sore throat.  Apparently that is just a virus, as Paisley got the same thing, and Amber took her to the doctor.  So, I am going with they had the same thing.

She seems to be better now thank goodness...if this is what it is going to be like this winter then I want to keep all my kids home!  And since we know that is not possible to put them in a bubble, I guess we will just make sure they have plenty of Vitamin C.  :)

Here is sweet Molly on Monday before the fever started...
Let's all pray now for a short lived winter/sickness time!

The Effects of Sidewalk Chalk...

Yesterday morning I was walking out my kitchen door to my garage, and quickly went down to the ground.  Little did I know that there was a piece of sidewalk chalk that got caught under my very short tall wedges that made me fall.  Well, this is day 2 of my ankle...I think there might be something wrong with it.  It hurts pretty bad, but I have yet to go to the doctor...I know, I know...go to the doctor, but I just am afraid what they will say.  Ain't nobody got time for crutches...

I have been iceing/elevating it several hours both days.  Lets just hope it gets better without a doctor...there is hoping right?
