Nothing like a dog pile...

Last weekend we spent a couple of hours out at the land just looking around the house and letting the kids see their rooms finally (well walk in them).  It was so peaceful and nice just being out there, we are going to love it so much, as we already do!!!

We looked over at one point and the kids were taking turns dog piling on each other...they are hilarious...

This is where our propane tank will be going... :)
Can't wait to start many more adventures out at the new place...

Mom's Night Out...

Last weekend was opening weekend for the movie, Mom's Night Out.  So, the ladies in our SS class decided that it would be a great excuse to get out for dinner and a movie together.  So, we met and had dinner at On the Border and then went to see the movie.  We had such a great time of fellowship and LOTS of laughs....you would be amazed at what a table full of 9 to 10 girls can do for you.  :)

These ladies all hold such special places in my hearts, and it was great seeing this movie with them.  Where SO many of us could relate to exactly what went on in the movie.  If you haven't seen it, you should...it is hilarious.  And if you are a guy, you should see it too, there were several families (husbands, kids) in there with their wives and mothers.

What a wonderful kick-off to my Mother's Day Weekend!

A little pie in the face...

A couple of Wednesdays ago it was pie the director in the face night at Awanas...and well since I am the director of our Sparks program (K-2nd), I got to get pied in the face.  It is a contest that we let the students participate in for the month of April.  We have a penny wars to raise money for missions.  If you bring money you get to put your name in a drawing to then be chosen to throw the pie.

Well, it just so happened that the boys won in my group, and Carter's friend Jaxon got his name drawn out to throw the pie at me...

I think at first he was nervous...but he quickly got into it!  I sure am going to miss Awanas next year, when our church choses to do something else with children's ministry.  I have enjoyed the last 5 years of working in it (3 as either co-director or director).  I will miss seeing all these kids smiling faces...

And these are 2 of my 1st grade teachers...they were taking pictures of me while I was getting pied, and decided to take one of themselves...love these ladies and what they give of themselves for their group of kids...

Mother's Day 2014...

I am so blessed that almost 8 years ago God made me a mother to a sweet and loving little boy!  And now almost 8 years later and I have 3 sweet, loving and rotten girls to go along with the boy.  Although sometimes they drive me crazy, and I might complain about how rotten they are, I am still thankful every day for them.  They light up my life, and it makes me the most happy when I can just sit and stare at them and remember how amazing they are on the inside and out.  They each have their own littler personalities, and for that I am grateful.  They make the darkest days bright, and I am very fortunate for that.

I hope they always love me and each other as they do today!  I pray that I can continue to love them and be there for them.  I pray that I am able to care for them, and raise them in the way of the Lord.  I have a wonderful mother who did that for me, and I hope I can do the same.

I am also VERY thankful of course for my mother, and my MIL Shawn.  I am not sure what I would do without either of them.  They love me and my kids so much, and I am forever grateful for that.

I sure love you Carter, Kennedy, Bailey and Molly!!!

Hello Kitty, Pinatas, and Cake...

Last weekend the girls got to go to one of their friends from churches birthday party.  First of all, let me just mention that when one or two of our kids gets to do something the others don't, they tend to rub it in...A LOT!!!  Needless to say, the twins rubbed the fact that they got to go the party several times to poor little Molly!!!  Oh well, there will come a day when Molly gets to repay them.

Now, back to the party...the girls had such a great time making necklaces/bracelets, playing pin the bow on Hello Kitty, and eating cake.  We sure do love Adyson, and are so excited that we got to be with her to celebrate her special day!!!

After the party I got the other 2 kids and we went to SAMs, and well lets just say we got A LOT of compliments on the cat ear headbands (even Molly...Mrs Erin sent a goody bag home for her).  They were a hit for everyone!

Don't you just love that face...

So excited that this little guy calls me Aunt Mimi!!!

RazorFest...I can SMELL football season...

A couple of weeks ago we took the kids down to RazorFest at the UofA for the Red/White game festivities.  We all had such a good time, especially because the weather was perfect.  And I know I don't have to tell you this again, but I LOVE football season, so it thrilled me to be able to celebrate the kick-off to the new season!

I actually sponsored a booth down there for work, so we had these great VIP passes that allowed us to get good food!  And of course my booth made a big splash with the Adidas face stickers...BIG HIT!!!!
We were able to take the kids into the Broyles Center and they could sit on these bleachers and watch the team practice on the field.  I love that they get to see so much of where I spent so much time when I was in college...
Not sure what was wrong with her at this very moment...THIS is MOLLY!!!
 Me and my sweet girl...
 Let's Call Those Hogs!!!!

Such a great day, and the kids had a blast!  We haven't been since Carter was 1 or 2, and it has definitely changed since then!
