First Days of School 2014...

These were bittersweet days...this is the last year that we will have a kid at Lifeway Christian School PreK, and then can you believe that we have a 2nd grader and 2 Kindergarteners...CRAZY!

Here is Molly on her first day...she started the Thursday before the big kids which was fun!  It was her own special day...
We have loved Mrs. Ostrand for years, and are very lucky that Molly gets to be one of her little chickens...

Then comes Monday morning, where K, B & C all started school!  They were SO excited about school and their teachers...I hope they are always this excited about starting school...

Molly needed to join the fun....love these sweet moments...I mean look at the girls with their hands on Carter's shoulders.

Small Town Life...

I love the feel of a small town, and all the little things that go on in a small town.  Don't get me wrong, I loved living in Lexington, but nothing beats small towns.

Welcome to the Decatur BBQ parade...although small, the kids still loved getting to watch the parade and of course grab up all the candy that they could....
 Love this picture...
Trying to get all 4 of us in a picture, not the easiest....but at least we are all in it.  And if you are wondering where Chris and Carter are, well I think at this point they are putting in wood floors at the new house...that was such a fun weekend for them I'm sure...
While the boys are off working, the girls are taking some time to cool off in Nana's pool...Best relaxing weekend...I love that my little ponies are keeping them entertained while swimming...

Bring on the next weekend of Gravette Day...we had the parade, and then as soon as we were finished with that and got home it started POURING down rain...

We had to go back up to Gravette that afternoon after the rain stopped and look who we ran into..some of our favorites...Ms Susie and Mackenzie...love them.
Followed by MORE swimming...I know we lead such a ROUGH life...

Safari Fun...

I sure do love these 2 sweet girls, and how much they LOVE on our kids.  They always have the best time when they are with Ashlyn and Halle, and this day was no different.

This was one of the last few weeks before school started, so we wanted to make the most of the week.  And why not start it off with a little trip to the safari...

21st Annual Domino Tournament...

In preparation for the 21st Annual Webb Family Domino Tournament started with a little pool time at Aunt Lucy's!!!  Look at sweet Molly being all brave and jumping off the rock...
Love that my girls love spending time with their older cousins...I remember when I would spend most of my summers with my cousin Shane...Daryan's dad...
Me and my sweet VBS girl...right before performance...
Then came Saturday...the BIG domino day....I know that I say this A LOT, but I LOVE my family and how we all still love getting together to play dominos, cards, etc.  And now our kids love it too!  This was us heading to the hotel to get our game on...(seriously, no hope with Kennedy)

Mandatory photo with Papa Webb, especially for Molly...The kids spent most of their day in the pool.  They would come in and eat a few snacks, then back out to the pool they went.  Towards the end, we just kept swimsuits on to eliminate the constant changing...
This is me and the other BAG LADIES....Keysha and Teresa...we are REALLY good :).  I love playing with these ladies, and although we didn't win, we always have a good time...even when our husbands (The Bone Collectors) beat us.  :(
Not even sure what just happened, but I love the laugh pictures...
And this year we crowned a new winner...Debbie, Aunt Lavon and Sherri!!!  At least it was them that won and not the Dominuncles....
What a blast we had...can't wait for many more years of this...

Silly Kids & VBS...

So, while I was away in Branson with the girls from SS, these are the pictures that greeted me...

I mean seriously, not a serious/smiling face from Kennedy...I blame Chris...
Love their sweet silly faces, and the fact that Molly wanted me to see her braid...
The following week the kids got to do VBS at church, well everyone but Molly, but she was able to have a playdate everyday with her sweet friend Macie!!!  The kids had such a good time...

3rd Annual Girls Trip to Branson...

We had our 3rd Annual Girls SS Trip to Branson in July.  I always have a great time with these ladies, and this year was no different.  We normally go to White Water on Friday and then shop and just hang out on Saturday.  Well, this year the weather wasn't our friend, so we ended up having to shop on Friday instead of WW, and then we just played on Sat.

Here were some of the people in my car...sure does love these ladies so much!  What a great group of girls I have come to know and love from our SS class...
On Saturday, we decided to do a little ziplining!  And if you know some of the girls in our group you know this is definitely OUT of their comfort zone!!!  I was so proud of them for doing it anyway, and I think deep down they enjoyed it and would do it again...
Here is our group of zipliners after we came down...
We did the Shepherd of the Hills ziplining and it was fun, next time I would like to do a longer one, but for now this one was great...
heading up in the elevator...so fun...
And then on Sat night we went and got ice cream and then some of us did the ripcord....So glad some people were willing to be crazy with me...thanks Cher and Sarah!
We were pretty excited to see this bus when we were down shopping and eating at the landing...although we didn't get to see them perform or tryout up close, it was still pretty cool to see the bus there...

12 Years Strong...

Back in the summer of 2002, Chris and I moved to a little ole city...Lexington, KY, where we knew ABSOLUTELY no one!  But I have to say it was the best thing that we could have done being newly married!  I loved our time in Lexington, and say all the time I would move back there in a heartbeat.

Well, during our time there we started visiting Immanuel Baptist Church, where we started going to this amazing Young Marrieds class taught by a guy named Jim Allen.  It was there that we made some of the best friends that we could have asked for.  Matt & Sunday Towles were that GO TO couple for us.  We literally played cards (Phase 10), ate brownies and ice cream almost every night of every weekend.  We had the best time ever with them.  And right before we moved to Memphis they had my sweet little boyfriend Jonah!

We try at least once a year to see them, and have done this since we moved away in 2004.  They now live in Virginia, and Matt works at Liberty!  Well, this year was their year to visit us!  So, even with a 90% packed house we had the best time with them.  We did all kinds of things, but the best part was just hanging out at night playing cards and just catching up.  We sure do LOVE the Towles, and can't wait until next summer when we get to see them again!

How grateful we are that God took us to the beautiful Lexington, KY all those years ago!

We had a date night on their last night in town...something we have grown to love doing with them...
One day the boys went one direction and the girls went another, and had the best time!
One thing that we haven't done with them was take them to a Naturals game...it was such an awesome night for a game.  And let's face it, it brought back all the memories of going to the Lexington Legends games back in the day!

And of course we had many nights of just swimming and hanging out at Nana Flynts...I tell you all of our families love the Towles just as much as we do!
