Cowboy and Things

For Halloween we had ourselves a cowboy and of course Thing 1 and Thing 2. It was so fun to see them all dressed up. I actually made the girls hair...not professional, but we all got the point. We had a great time, we went to some families houses and then we went to our church FallFest. The girls actually left their hair on almost the whole time. I was very surprised, especially that Kennedy left hers on. Hope you enjoy.

As you can see Carter was truly getting into the Cowboy spirit...he kept saying Hee Haw and tipping his hat

Thought this picture was so cute of Bailey and Chris

Our friends Luke and Jessica dressed their little boy Justus up as the Cat in the Hat. Not a great picture of all of us, but none the less we got them all together. They girls just love Justus.

As you can see they love him...it was actually his birthday on Sat., so Happy Birthday Justus

Crazy Kennedy

Kennedy continues to make us laugh...

Kennedy loves to climb in Carter's chair, and this day she was all the way up on the window ledge. Such a cute picture though

Chris caught her the other night carrying a bag of potatoes walking through the pantry.

Class Hayride

Last weekend our Sunday School class had our annual Hayride/Cookout at our teachers Farm. It is always such a great time, the kids especially like being able to run, fish, and of course the hayride. This year it was just me and Carter, as Chris was in Texas with his sisters, and the girls were just getting over being sick. They had their own fun with Brady at Nana's house. We are so blessed to have a great Sunday School class and family

Carter after he caught his fish...I am very surprised he held it

Paige on the other hand loves holding worms...this is seriously the only way I can get her to look at the camera

Hamm Halloween Party

Carter's friend Jack and his brother Jacob had a Halloween party last week that we attended. Carter had a lot of fun, especially dancing in the garage to Scooby Doo.

Carter and his friend Ella...we had no idea they would go together so well.

Kids getting to decorate cookies

Again, Carter and Ella...do you see a pattern, Carter loves hanging out with her

Pumpkin Patch

Last week at Carter's school they brought the pumpkin patch to them. It was actually a nice day with no rain, so it made for a perfect day to be outside enjoying the pumpkins. Even the girls got to take part in it.

Here's Carter's class...it is so hard to get everyone to look at the camera and sit still

The girls in the corn wagon...they liked it and were a little confused and of course Kennedy wanted to eat it

KC Marathon

Last weekend Chris and our friend Ryan ran the Kansas City Marathon. They had decided this back in June, and have been training every since. They did so good, and although it was a tough course (a lot of hills), I think they were pleased with themselves and their time. Right after the race they said they didn't know if they would do it again, but after time to rest, I think Chris will do another one. Although, I do think the next one will be a little flatter. I am so proud of them for training and completing the marathon.

Getting up the energy to start the race...this was about 5:45 AM

Getting stretched...

About to cross the finish line

Resting and having a snack when their work was done

Ryan, Crissy, Chris and me....we had a great time

Say Cheese

Just wanted to share Carter's yearbook picture. Isn't he adorable?
