Just a cute picture I got of the girls yesterday. They were actually "sharing" the chair, which does not happen a lot. I guess Bailey wanted to read to Kennedy.

Safari Adventure
Carter had his last field trip on Tuesday of this week to the Gentry Safari. It was a chilly day, but overall I think he had a great time. He even let the goats eat out of his hand, which if you know my child that is a big step for him. His friend Jack and Jacob and their mom Tarah rode with us there, so it was fun for him to have his friend with us.

Ready for takeoff...
While we were in Branson, Papa Flynt thought it would be nice for Paige and Carter to get to go up in a helicopter. So, we built it up all morning, and they seemed excited until we got there. At least I got a picture of them out in front of the helicopter. Paige changed her mind right after this picture, and Carter at least got in the helicopter, and if they didn't have so many things to do inside before takeoff he probably would have gone up. So, it ended up that just Chris and I got to go up, it was pretty, and I can see how people who have never really seen the Ozarks before might really love doing this. It was a definitely a different side of Branson than I have ever seen. Thanks Papa Flynt...maybe one day the kids will want to go up.
I kept thinking about all "The Bachelor" episodes when people go up in helicopters...I know I am ridiculous...kind of funny though.
Carter right next to the pilot...again he got in and almost made it...

A LONG 4 MTHS!!!!
Chris is finally done with TAXES, at least the initial part. Although, he will still be crazy busy, nothing will be like the long days he has been working. Poor guy has been working 6 days a week, several nights/mornings after the kids go to bed. We are so lucky to have him work so hard for our family. I knew tax seasons would be hard, but with the kids getting bigger it is even harder to explain to them why he is working so much.
We decided to head to Branson to relax and let him catch up on some sleep. So, we headed out after Carter got out of school on Thursday to enjoy some family time. Chris's mom and sister and her kids came up to go to Silver Dollar City on Friday with us. It was a great time, the weather was perfect, and since school is still in session we had the whole park to ourselves.
This is our baby gate that we had in front of the stairs....the kids always tried to get up there somehow...I love this picture, because Bailey is such a cheeser right now for pictures. You will see she does this face in several of them.
Such a funny picture, because you can't see Carter. So, it looks like Chris is the only one riding the elephants
Carter and Paige loving all the rides
The girls even got to ride some with us...here are me and Kennedy

Finally...Easter
Sorry for the delay in getting Easter pics up, but it has been a little crazy around here. We had a great Easter, and days leading up to it.
Here Carter is making some cookies, he loves to help in the kitchen, so being able to make his own cookies was fun for him.
And of course dyeing eggs...he only cracked a few when he dropped them in the cup
Our Sunday School class had an Easter Egg Hunt/Cookout on Saturday before Easter. It was at our teacher's farm, and was so much fun. The weather was perfect, and the kids had a great time. I am so excited that the girls get to experience hunting eggs this year. I think they actually liked it.
Bailey did so well...
Kennedy found several as well.

Carter had the most fun I think, he LOVED hunting eggs

Just thought this was a cute picture of Bailey and Chris

On Sunday we got all dressed up and headed to early church...I couldn't really get any good pictures of the kids, but we tried...here are the girls, the ones with Carter with them they were not happy at all

Our family picture, again not a very good one, but at least we have one.

After church we went to my Aunt Linda's house for lunch and then to Chris's moms for dinner. I didn't get any pictures at Chris's mom of the egg hunt as Amber and I headed to church to work in the nursery.

Butterflies, hopefully
One of our neighbors gave us a butterfly bush, apparently it is supposed to attrack butterflies as it gets bigger. Let's just hope I remember to water it, if you know me at all you know I am a horrible "green thumb." So, I am hoping that we don't (or I) kill this plant. Mainly because our neighbor will pass by and see that it is dead, and then when we see him at church he will give us a hardtime.
It was nice for Chris to take a little break from taxes for an hour or so to have some family bonding time outside, even if it was the girls watching the boys do all the work. Isn't that how it is supposed to be? :)
Chris and Carter hard at work
Carter watering the plant when it finally got in the ground. Maybe this will be his nightly job, and maybe that would keep it alive longer.

Spring = Baseball Time!!!
Last weekend Dane gave us his baseball tickets to the Arkansas-Alabama game. So, since it was nice on Friday night we decided to take Carter to a game. It was a great game, and we actually made it to the beginning of 9th inning. We saw a big fight about to start on the field between all the players of AR and AL. They charged the field, but didn't actually fight.
Chris and Carter enjoying the game
It got a little windy towards the end, so Carter decided to wear Chris's sweatshirt...
Carter got a hold of the camera several times during the game, and did a good job on some of the pictures, however, we did have a lot of pictures of the moon and the floor.
I just thought this one looked cool...weird I know.
