Enjoying the Little Things...

I saw this sign on Instagram the other day, and LOVED it!  We are crazy busy all the time brought on by myself of course, but this picture made me just stop and think.  My kids are growing up so fast, I mean the twins will start Kindergarten in the Fall, man where did time go?  I am really going to be making an effort moving forward to just ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS!

For instance, this....you know you're a REDNECK if...
yep, you see if correct, Chris is strapping a car seat in the back of the Rhino...hey at least it is 5pt Harness...hahaha.  Molly thought it was the best thing every!  This weather was perfect this weekend, and we spent A LOT of time outside.  The kids love riding on the Rhino, so Carter, Bailey, Molly and Chris went for a ride.

While me and this little one got to hang out...
It was so fun to just hang with her, she rode her bike, we jumped on the trampoline and both enjoying some swinging!  I love when I get one on one time with each kid, I hope that it makes them feel special too!  Saturday was extra special for me because I got to spend some time with just her!

So, let me encourage you to stop and ENJOY the LITTLE THINGS, as you never know what life will throw at you!

Spring Break Sleepovers...

This is the site of a very exciting sleepover on Friday night...

On Friday morning I started thinking how fun it would be to surprise the kids with some of their friends for a sleepover...and well Chris agreed so when I came home so did Merrick and Ashlyn...

It was so fun having them here, and they ALL did really well.  They played and played and played...ate brownies and popcorn and watched movies.  Sleepover = Success!

The boys did their own thing and the girls did theirs...

Here we are on the way to take them home on Sat., and just so you know I was stopped when I took this.  :)
I can't wait for the next one!

Sucker lady...

Molly went to our friend Jennifer's (Jen L David Photography) house the other day with Brooke when she had her boys pictures taken.  Well of course she was nice enough to take Molly's sweet picture too.  Aren't these pictures adorable?  Colt thinks Mrs. Jennifer is the sucker lady and I am certain Molly will too now!

Thanks Jen for sharing these with me, and thanks Brooke for letting Molly tag along.

Colorful birthday fun...

On Saturday we got to celebrate this sweet little boy turning 6!!!!!

I was so blessed to be there when he was born, and then again the actual day he turned 6.  I sure do love my sweet Kohen!

Look how handsome this sweet boy is...
Here are me and the proud MAMA then...
And now...the funny thing is, we are on the exact same side and we didn't even plan it.  HA!
Candy always does a great job of planning the kids birthday parties, although, I think Kohen has a BIG part of what he wants for his party.  His mom just does a great job of follow through...
My kids had such a great time painting at his party, and can't wait to get their works of art back...
 Happy Birthday Kohen!
I love this picture of the girls and their aunt Candy...

Family...

I didn't think this title needed anything other than FAMILY!  I know I have said it if not 1 time a 1,000 times, but I LOVE my family.  I love that we have constantly been getting together since I was born and before me they did as well.  I love the BIG family that I have, and that at any moment I could call any one of them for help.  I used to pick hanging out with my family over my friends when I was in school.  People would think I was crazy, but I just loved being around them so much!

Here are my dad and 4 of his siblings (3 are missing) on Sunday singing at church.  I love seeing them all still getting up and singing together, and hope that they continue to sing together.

Uncle David, Uncle Gerald, Uncle Frank, Dad and Aunt Lavon...

My cousins were in from Mena this past weekend for a few days, so that means gathering at my Aunt Lavon and Uncle Jerry's house for some cards, dominoes, and food of course.

Molly was all about Uncle Jerry, it is probably because he let her use him as a jungle gym....love these sweet moments...

Not sure the kind of family that everyone has, but I am TRULY grateful for the one that I have!

First of MANY Excursions...

On Friday night we took some of our friends out to look at the land, and let me tell you I think they kids are going to LOVE it out at the new land.  It was hilarious, Carter would just take his little group on little adventures all through the woods.  I can tell that he is going to really like being able to play out there with his friends.   The best part is, it was SO peaceful out there while we were all just standing around talking, I can tell I am going to love sitting on the back porch hanging with our friends and family.

The Roughleys have 3 kids, and had 2 of the Bartmier kids, so we had a total of 9 kids out there.  How fun!!!  I know I will probably say this a lot in the next couple of weeks, but I am SO excited to get the house started and seeing some progress!

My Blanket Fort

My sweet friend Karen entered the blogging world today!!!!  I am SO very excited for her.  Let me tell you people she will be down right perfect at it!  She has been mine and several of our friends go-to person for questions regarding but not limited to:  skin, poop, essential oils, sunless tanners, etc.  You name it and she has tried everything or for sure researched it!  And I really think she will put a fun spin on some every day things.  She is one funny lady, and not only do I love the fact that we are scary movie buddies, but I love that she is willing to share her knowledge and trial and errors with the world now!  Her link is in my favorite sites section, but you can also find it here http://myblanketfort.net.

I love this picture of us that we took last year when we went on a girls trip to Dallas.
