Giant Sledding Hill...

On Sunday we went over to some friend's house and played in the snow.  They live in Bella Vista, and have a pretty good hill beside their house, so off with The Parker (Rhino) we went.  The funny thing is, it was the Parker's house that we went to.  Anyway, our kids love to play with their kids (they have 6), so it was a good time.  People looked at us weird I am sure, as it is ice covered roads, and here we are pulling a trailer with a Rhino on it..I know crazy FUN!  We grabbed some pizzas and off we went.

After we ate, we got all bundled up to play out side the front of their house, and then the boys took the big kids to the HILL and we kept the littles at home in the warmth as they wouldn't have lasted that long.  We had such a good time!

These 2 sweeties have earned a special place in my heart as well as my kids...they especially love Paisley (on the left), and Whitley (on right) has the biggest blue eyes and blonde hair...love it.
This little monkey is crazy, she kept throwing ice blocks at me...
Here is our Kennedy, their Kennedy and Bailey...

This is just in front of their house, Carter was so excited about the giant hill that they went to after.  Kennedy and Bailey were too, except they thought it was exciting because they rode the rhinos and sat in them the whole time...
another snow angel...can you tell she loves to make these...
And the little sledding, she had a blast...

First Snow Fun...

It all started at 5:30 AM last Thursday morning when I got a call from the school canceling for the day.  I then thought, oh we must of gotten the snow overnight that they had been talking about.  Well, wrong...there was NO snow on the ground, they just cancelled because the reports were saying it would get bad quick.  Well, they were right, by 12:00 PM it had started sleeting and by 2:00 PM the roads were getting pretty slick.  On top of the ice came snow, and in some areas we got 11-12 inches.  I love the ages of the kids they now are really enjoying going out in it.  We have had some great snow playing times with family and friends so far, and there is still plenty on the ground as none of it has melted since it is still 28 degrees.

We were headed out to check on the snow situation...
Carter making his snow angel, and Molly about to try one too...
Chris's new toy...remember I told you we have a contract on some land, well, Chris went ahead and got a toy very needed means of transportation for once we are out there.  And honestly the timing couldn't have been more perfect, he got it last Sunday.  We have named it "The Parker" as our friends used to own it (we didn't buy it from them, but a guy in OK), it really is the craziest thing.  We have had some fun on it already!
When we woke up on Friday morning this is what we saw...not even done yet...
On Friday afternoon we went and played at the Addington's house, and then had dinner at Nana Flynt's...snow and ice can't keep us home.  Well it would keep me home, but if you know Chris, his mom and sisters you know they aren't afraid...

Looks like Chris ran her over, but really that is just where she decided to lay down and do her snow angel.

And at the end of it all here are all the tiny shoes...sure do love that we have lots of little lovers of snow!

How did she get so BIG?

Man, everyday I look at this little girl and realize she is not so LITTLE anymore.  I have a love/hate relatioship with her independence, but just remind myself everyday we are blessed by having Molly!  She brings so much joy to our lives, and this little picture brighten my day the other when Ms. Brooke sent it to me.

She seems to always want her hair up in a ponytail these past few weeks, I love it, but man doesn't it make her look even bigger?  Sure do love this girl...

Trimming the Tree...

A little late in posting this, but after we had Thanksgiving at Nana Flynt's house she got them all dressed in their Christmas pjs she bought them and the kids got to decorate one of her trees.  They loved it and had so much fun putting their decorations up.

This was prior to decorating...you will see a different side of some of them at the end...

These 2 littles are so funny...listening to their conversations will never get old.  So glad Molly has her "twin" to play with all the time.
There is not much you can say about these 3...they have NO hope with all the girls we have.  I am glad they get the chance to have all the BOY time when Holt comes to visit.  They are all really good brothers...
Remember earlier I said we would have a different kind of reaction...well, there were a few breakdowns when we were done.  None the less, we got a picture of kids and Nana..this IS our LIFE!!!
My sweet family in front of the tree...
Thanks to Nana for the pjs and for letting them decorate one of your trees!

Working off the Turkey...

I saw the funniest thing when I came out of my room on Friday after Thanksgiving from getting ready.  I saw these crazy people doing some exercises as the kids call it...

Last week, Chris decided since he is going skiing in Jan that he should probably do a little something so he doesn't die of exhaustion on top of the mountians of Colorado.  They were VERY into it, and I do have to say Bailey and Carter were serious about it and did really good.  Kennedy and Molly definitely have my approach to P90X...looks like fun, but when you start doing it you realize a crazy dude came up with it.  Ha!  No, it is a good workout, but I can tell you I didn't run and get my tennis shoes to jump in with them, maybe next time. :)

Thanksgiving...Webb Family Style...

We had a great few days of Thanksgivings with our families.  I love this time of year, mainly because we get to see everyone that we don't normally get to on a normal day.  There was plenty of eating, playing games, and dance parties that occurred.  We start first with Thanksgiving Day...Webb Family Gathering...

Actually, lets start with the first thing we do...watch the Macy's Day Parade.  The girls were so funny, they would run in when one of them would see the balloon that they wanted, and then K & B saw the red and green dancers on the screen and couldn't take their eyes off the TV.  It just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without the parade...

Kennedy and my cousin Raymond...she would get anyone to hold her, and most of my family are suckers and hold her even though she doesn't need to be held.
This was the first year that I really didn't know where my kids were pretty much the whole day.  My younger cousins would come get them and take them next door to Aunt Lucy's house, or they were playing barbies in another room.  My kids love Morgan and Carmen, so they didn't really care where we were either.  It was the perfect day to be outside for November, so they were outside a lot throughout the day.  They played hard from 10:30 - 9:00 PM.  No joke...no naps, food, and playing that sums up their day!
I just love this pic...not sure where Bailey is at this point...
I told you food was given throughout the day to them, and topped off with a cookie of course...and some M&Ms, you name it they ate it.
Molly literally feel asleep as soon as we got in the car and backed up.  When we got home, I went to get her pjs, and when I came back this is how I found her.  Can we say POOPED?!?!
And instead of the normal Black Friday shopping, my cousin Sherri and I went and saw Hunger Games...totally worth it!  So much better than the first one, and went right along with the book.  We have kind of made going to the movie during Thanksgiving our thing for the past few years.  First it was Twilight, now Hunger Games, and soon will be Divergent.  Love these times with my cousins.
One of the highlights, was Friday night I went back to my Aunt Lavon's house to hang out with them, and we had a reliving 80s music!  I have told several people my cousins, Michelle, Lou, and Melissa warped me with listening to 80s music.  Well, it came out on Friday night. Edd would say an artist, and we would say they hit they had that year and sing it!!!  I remember back to being at their houses, Uncle Frank's pool or wherever listening/singing those songs.  Man what great family memories, that I hope my kids will have one day with all their older cousins!

Just call us crazy...

On Tuesday last week, I got to have breakfast with this guy...Chick Fil A to be more exact...he certainly knows a way to my heart.

We are about to embark on a new chapter in our lives.  A couple of weeks ago Chris mentioned that he had found 15 acres for sale about 5 mins from where we live now, and thought it would be good to look at/buy.  Fast forward 2 weeks, and we have a contract on that said land, have a builder, a house plan, a banker, etc.  He has done such an amazing job getting everything set up.  This is a completely wooded 15 acres, so we will have to run water, electric, septic, make a road, and clear the land.  He has met people there multiple times, and like I said taken care of everything.  I literaly have helped pick out the plans, met with the foreman, and he has done the rest.

I am so excited to be doing this with this man...he is so good at this, and I am excited to have some land and a place that we can build how we want and make some more memories with our family.  I am however, not excited about moving 4 kids and ourselves, that sounds like NO FUN!  But I know that it will be so good in the long run.

I am grateful that God has allowed us to be able to do this.  Although, we don't need the extra space really (my dad's parents had a tiny house with 10 people in it), it will be nice to have and we will be thankful for it.

If you think about it, please say a prayer for us during this time.  Especially come tax season...lets hope all the BIG things are done by then.  We are very easy going people, and I pray that we continue to be that way through the building process.
